Imam Ibn Rajab رحمه الله said,

"Al-Zuhri رحمه الله would say when Ramadan had arrived, 'Now is only the time for reciting the Qur’an and feeding food (to the needy).'

Imam Malik رحمه الله would abstain from reading ahadith and the sitting of the people of knowledge, and he would focus on reciting the Qur’an from the Mushaf.

Qatadah رحمه الله would study the Qur’an in Ramadan.

Sufyan al-Thawri رحمه الله would abandon all (supererogatory acts of) worship and focus on reciting the Qur’an."

Sometimes, it's not the unemployment that depresses people.
It's how their family and friends treat them when they have no income.

7 Qualities that Allah Loves..

1. TAWBAH (Repentance)
"For Allah loves those who turn to Him constantly (in repentance)" [Surah Al Baqarah 2:222]

2. TAHARAH (Purification)
"Allah loves those who keep themselves pure and clean." [Surah Al Baqarah 2:222]

3. TAQWA (Piety)
"For Allah loves the righteous (the pious)." [Surah Al Tawbah 9:4]

4. IHSAN (Goodness & Perfection)
"For Allah loves those who do good" [Surah Ali 'Imran 3:134]

5. TAWAKKUL (Trust in Allah)
"For Allah loves those who put their trust (in Him)." [Surah Ali 'Imran 3:159]

6. ADL (Justice)
"For Allah loves those who judge in equity." [Surah Al Ma'idah 5:42]
"For Allah loves those who are fair (and just)." [Surah Al Hujurat 49:9]

7. SABR (Patience)
"And Allah Loves those who are firm and steadfast (As-Sabirin (the patient))." [Surah Ali 'Imran 3:146]

..Seven Qualities that Allah does not Love..

1. ISRAAF (Extravagance)
"But waste not by excess: for Allah loves not the wasters (Al-Musrifun (those who waste by extravagance))." [Surah Al An'am 6:141]

2. ISTIKBAAR (Pride)
"Verily He loves not the arrogant (proud)." [Surah Al Nahl 16:23]

3. MUKHTAL FAKHOOR (Arrogant boaster)
"For Allah loves not any arrogant boaster." [Surah Luqman 31:18]

4. UDWAAN (Transgression)
"For Allah loves not transgressors." [Surah Al Ma'idah 5:87]

5. DHULM (Evil, Wrongdoing)
"But Allah loves not those who do wrong (Dhalimun (oppressors, polytheists and wrong doers))." [Surah Ali 'Imran 3:57]

6. KHIYAANAH (Treachery)
"For Allah loves not the treacherous." [Surah Al Anfal 8:58]

7. MUFSIDEEN (Mischief-makers)
"And Allah loves not those who do mischief." [Surah Al Ma'idah 5:64]

‎Ibn al-Jawzī said: The month of Ramaḍān to the other months is like Yūsuf to his brothers. So, just like Yūsuf was the most beloved son to Yaʿqūb, Ramaḍān is likewise the most beloved month to Allāh.

Sufyan ath-Thawri (رحمه الله) said:

كان الناس إذا التقوا، انتفع بعضهم ببعض، فأمَّا اليوم فقد ذهب ذلك والنَّجاة في تركهم

“People used to benefit from one another when they met.
As for today, that has gone, and safety lies in keeping away from them.”

Some of the scholars commented:

May Allah have mercy on him. He said this in a time when the great leading Imams were abundant and present, such as al-Awzāʿī, Mālik ibn Anas, Ibn al-Mubārak, Sufyān ibn ʿUyaynah, ash-Shāfiʿī, al-Ḥumaydī, Bishr al-Ḥāfī, Ibn Rāhawayh, Abū Thawr, Aḥmad ibn Ḥanbal, Ibn al-Madīnī, al-Bukhārī, and many others. So how would it have been had he witnessed our times? What would he have said then?

Abu Huraira reported: A man came to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and he complained about the hardness of his heart. The Prophet said:

إِنْ أَرَدْتَ تَلْيِينَ قَلْبِكَ فَأَطْعِمْ الْمِسْكِينَ وَامْسَحْ رَأْسَ الْيَتِيمِ

If you want to soften your heart, feed the poor and pat the head of the orphan.

Hadith : Whenever you see these eclipses pray and invoke (Allah) till the eclipse is over

Narrated Abu Bakr Radi Allahu Anhu Allah's Messenger Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said: "The sun and the moon are two signs
amongst the signs of Allah and they do not eclipse because of the death of someone but Allah frightens His devotees with them."
Sahih Bukhari, Book 18, 158

Narrated Abu Bakr Radi Allahu Anhu We were with Allah's Messenger Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam when the sun eclipsed. Allah's
Messenger Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam stood up dragging his cloak till he entered the Mosque. He led us in a two-rakat prayer till the
sun (eclipse) had cleared. Then the ProphetSallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said, "The sun and the moon do not eclipse because of
someone's death. So whenever you see these eclipses pray and invoke (Allah) till the eclipse is over.

The Prophet ﷺ said:

“The Hour will not be established until two great groups fight each other, and there will be a great number of casualties between them, yet their claim will be the same.”

Don’t be amazed at the knowledge of someone who is able to quote from memory and bring out benefits from books if he doesn’t teach the basics to his young students

A real scholar is one who teaches the basics before the advanced knowledge, so stick to the one who benefits you, not just the one who amazes you.

Security First

You can't have prosperity without safety. Prophet Ibrahīm - 'alayi-s-salām - prayed for safety in the town before asking for substance, telling that security is a prerequisite for blessings a f growth in the community.

Without safety, economies struggle and people suffer; security is a big deal today.

He - 'alayi-s-salām - prayed, "And [mention] when Abraham said, My Lord, make this a secure city and provide its people with fruits..."

I{وَإِذۡ قَالَ إِبۡرَ ٰ⁠هِـۧمُ رَبِّ ٱجۡعَلۡ هَـٰذَا بَلَدًا ءَامِنࣰا وَٱرۡزُقۡ أَهۡلَهُۥ مِنَ ٱلثَّمَرَ ٰ⁠تِ...}
I[سُورَةُ البَقَرَةِ: ١٢٦]

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:

"Oh Allah, bless my nation in their early mornings (i.e., what they do early in the morning)."

Ibn Majah 2236 | Hasan

✍️ When you are oppressed, say, "Sufficient for me is Allâh." Then remain calm and observe how the All-Just will resolve your situation.

⏰ The Khalifah Ali Ibn Abi Tâlib — رضي الله عنه — said:

لَا تَظْلِمَنَّ إِذَا مَا كُنتَ مُقْتَدِرًا ** فَالظُّلْمُ مَرتَعُهُ يُفْضِي إِلَى النَّدَمِ

تَنَامُ عَيْنَاكَ وَالْمَظْلُومُ مُنْتَبِهٌ ** يَدْعُو عَلَيْكَ وَعَيْنُ اللَّهِ لَمْ تَنَمِ

📌 Do not oppress if you are granted the means, ** For oppression returns to its doer as terrible regret.

📌 Your eyes may sleep, but the oppressed are vigilant; ** They pray against you, and God’s eyes never sleep.

Rasulullaah ﷺ said, “Beware of the prayer of the oppressed, for there is no barrier between it and God.”

Ibn Taymiyyah:

"The more a person has a desire for knowledge and worship, and the abler he is to engage in it ... the greater he will achieve, so long as Allah keeps him safe from Shayṭān; and the greater fitnah he will cause if the Shayṭān gets control over him."

Sh. Ibn ‘Uthaymīn [رحمه الله] said; "Sleeping is a blessing from Allāh as it renews energy and cures tiredness."

Ibn al-Qayyim [رحمه الله] said: "Sleeping too much kills the heart, makes the body heavy and wastes time."

Ibn al-Qayyim [رحمه الله] said: "The best times to sleep are at the beginning of the night and in the middle of the day."

Ibn al-Qayyim [رحمه الله] said: "To achieve eight hours of sleep at night is good - not more."

Ibn al-Qayyim [رحمه الله] said: "To sleep 8 hours during the night (4) and day (4) is best."

You have been waiting. Waiting for the job. Waiting for the marriage. Waiting for the breakthrough. Waiting for things to finally fall into place. And some days it feels like nothing is moving. Like you have been stuck in the same place for too long.

But here is what you need to remember.

Yusuf AS spent years in a dark well and in prison. Then in a single moment Allah elevated him to a position of power that no one could have predicted. Years of waiting. One moment of divine decree.

That is how Allah works. Not always slowly and gradually. Sometimes suddenly. Sometimes overnight. Sometimes in ways that leave you speechless and in tears of gratitude.
Your situation is not permanent. Your struggle is not your destination. Allah has not forgotten you. He is simply preparing you.

And when He says it is time, nothing in this world can stop what He has written for you.

"Indeed, with hardship comes ease." — Ash Sharh 94:6

"And whoever relies upon Allah, then He is sufficient for him. Indeed, Allah will accomplish His purpose." — At Talaq 65:3

The Messenger of Allāh صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ said:

“The Believers are like a single body. If the head is afflicted, then the whole body is afflicted. If the eye is afflicted, then the whole body is afflicted.”

Assalāmu ʿalaykum wa raḥmatullāhi wa barakātuh dear brothers and sisters,
