The Three Greatest Trials for Men
Men are destroyed by three things. By Allāh, no man falls into them except that his religion is weakened, his dignity is damaged, and the blessing in his life disappears.
1⃣. The first destructive thing is private sins.
When a person is alone, his true state of Ēmān is revealed — whether it is sincere or fake.
The Prophet ﷺ said: “I know people from my nation who will come on the Day of Judgment with good deeds as huge as mountains, but Allāh will make them like scattered dust.” The companions asked about them. He said: “They pray as you pray, fast as you fast, and give charity as you give charity. But when they are alone and able to sin, they violate Allah’s limits.”
How often a man loses his dignity, religion, and purity because of what he does in private.
2⃣. The second destructive thing is wealth.
The Prophet ﷺ said: “Every Ummah has a fitnah, and the fitnah of my Ummah is wealth.”
Many people become weak in front of money and feed their children from unlawful earnings.
The Prophet also said: “Any body that grows from unlawful gain, the Fire is more deserving of it.”
If you want to test a man, test him in money and financial dealings.
3⃣. The third — and the greatest — destructive thing is the temptation of women.
No man falls into it except that poverty comes close to him, the blessing in his life disappears, and his dignity fades.
The Prophet ﷺ said: “Fear this world and fear women, for the first fitnah of the Children of Israel was through women.”
Whoever falls into one of these destructive matters loses the blessing in his life, weakens his religion, and may lose his wealth.
Allāh says: “Tell the believing men to lower their gaze and guard their modesty. That is purer for them. Indeed, Allāh is fully aware of what they do.”

Ten Days Of Ramadan Have Passed
Shaykh Saalih Al-Fawzaan [حفظه الله] said:
❝So let us take account of ourselves regarding these ten days that have passed and how they were spent.
Did we have a concern and pay importance by performing acts of obedience to Allaah, and benefit from them?
So whoever has done good in them and had a concern and paid importance to them then what is upon him is to increase in good deeds and complete what remains of the month.
Whoever was heedless in the ten days that have passed and was lazy then it is for him to repent and to rectify what remains of this month before all of it passes away, and he has not attained anything.❞

The Messenger (sallAllaahu
Saheehah (1805), at-Taahaawee, Ibn Shaadhaan, Abu Nu'aym, and ad-Daylamee.

"There are three who call upon Allaah, the Mighty and Majestic, and He does not respond to them: A man under (whose authority) is a women of evil manners, and he does not divorce her. A man who is owed wealth by another man (i.e. a debt), but he did not (bring anyone to) witness over it (i.e. the loan). And a man who gave his wealth to a fool, and Allaah the Most High says, "And do not give your wealth to the fools..." (Surah Nisaa 4:5).

For those currently travelling in the Gulf region, particularly around Qatar, the UAE, Saudi Arabia and neighbouring airspace and who have been impacted by sudden delays or travel disruptions…
Take a breath.
Uncertainty can stir anxiety. Especially when you’re away from home, with changing information and closed airspace. But this is where our faith becomes real.
Allah says:
فَاللَّهُ خَيْرٌ حَافِظًا وَهُوَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ
So Allah is the Best Guardian, and He is the Most Merciful of those who show mercy.”
No airline ultimately protects us.
No government ultimately protects us.
No airspace ultimately protects us.
Allah does.
And He says:
قُل لَّن يُصِيبَنَا إِلَّا مَا كَتَبَ اللَّهُ لَنَا هُوَ مَوْلَانَا
“Say: Nothing will ever befall us except what Allah has written for us. He is our Protector.”
If something is delayed, it is by decree.
If something is prevented, it is by wisdom.
It could be that Allah is holding you back from a harm you cannot see.
Sometimes we try to escape one discomfort, only to enter something worse and Allah, in His mercy, diverts us.
Right now, the most powerful response is not panic; it is returning to Him.
Guard your morning and evening adhkar. They are your shield.
Increase your dhikr.
Send salawat upon the Prophet ﷺ.
And repeat often:
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْهَمِّ وَالْحَزَنِ...
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from anxiety and grief...
You are not where you are by accident.
You are not delayed by accident.
You are under the care of Al-Hafiz (The Guardian).
And Allah is the Best of Guardians.
May Allah decree the best outocome and deal swiftly with the wrongdoers - Aameen.

DUAA IN THE LAST PART OF THE NIGHT ✨
Narrated Amr bin Abasah as-Sulami (رضى الله عنه): I said: "O Messenger of Allah, which part of the night is the one in which (my supplication is) most likely to be heard (and responded to)?"
He (ﷺ) replied: "The last part of the night — so pray as much as you wish, for prayer (at this time) is witnessed and written (by the angels) until you pray the morning prayer (fajr)."

🟠 The Virtue of Seeking Forgiveness for One’s Parents
On the authority of Abu Huraira, may Allāh be pleased with him, that the Prophet ﷺ said:
⚪️ “A man’s rank will be raised in Paradise, and he will say: ‘How did this come to me?’ It will be said: ‘Through your child’s seeking forgiveness for you.’”
📌 Reported by Ibn Mājah (3660), authenticated by Al-Albāni in Sahih Al-Jāmiʿ (1617).

DO NOT SING THE QURAN,QURAN IN MELODY?-
Imam Malik said:
"I do not like reciting in melodies, neither in Ramadaan nor at other times, because it resembles singing, and it causes the Qur'an to be laughed at. It is said ‘this person is a better reciter than that person (the Quran becomes the subject of rivalry and entertainment).
It has reached me that the slave-girls are taught to recite like this as they are taught how to sing. Do you think this was the way Allah’s Messenger (saws) used to recite?"
[Al-Qayrawani, Kitab Al-Jami’ p166]
Sâlim b. 'Abdillah b. 'Umar b. Al-Khattab (ra) was asked to listen to someone leading the prayer. When he heard the recitation he turned back exclaiming:
"Singing! Singing!"
[Ibn Al-Jawzi, Al-Qussas wa Al-Mudhakkirin article 183]
It is reported that there was a man who used to lead the prayer in Madina. One night, he became euphoric (got carried away by emotion). Al-Qâsim b. Muhammad recited: "Verily it is a mighty and noble Book. Falsehood does not approach it, neither before it nor behind. It is a revelation from the Most Wise, Most Praiseworthy." [Al-Fussilat: 41, 42]
And he detested (the behavior of the reciter).
[Ibid article 184]
Ibn Dawud 'Abdullah b. Dawud b. 'Amir Al-Khuraybi was once asked by Bishr b. Al-Harith: 'If I pass by a man reciting, should I sit and listen? He asked, “Does he become euphoric (because of emotional recitation)?” Bishr replied, “Yes.” Ibn Dâwûd said, “He has shown his bid’ah, do not sit with him.”'
[Ibid article 186]
Imam Ahmad rahimahullah said: “This innovated recitation which is called Al-Alhan (melodious, musical recitation), I detest it.” He was very strict against it. He said, “I believe it resembles singing, and the Qur'an is to be preserved from this.”
[Ibid article 188]
o
After relating some of these traditions, Ibn Al-Jawzî states:
"Know that melodious musical recitation (Al-Alhan) is detested for a number of reasons, amongst others: (its reciters) merge letters that are not supposed to be merged, they extend vowels (madd) where there should be no extension, and they omit the hamzah and the doubling of consonants (tashdîd) just in order to preserve the melody. Also, this kind of recitation causes people to get emotionally carried away (al-tarb) and it distracts people from pondering the Quran.”
[Ibn Al-Jawzi, Al-Qussas wa Al-Mudhakkirîn p335]

*Between you and me...*
Sometimes when we hear about the suffering of the Prophets, peace be upon all of them, we may shake our heads in acknowledgment of the great struggle they had undergone and we think to ourselves that they maintained unmatched patience for Allah's sake, so, they deserved such noble statuses...
We shake our heads, but within ourselves, there's a feeling of "belittlement" of the magnitude of this suffering! We might even think that there are others whose suffering is greater than theirs.
Do you know why? The fact that it is long past... We reduce years to a few words: ‘The Prophet ﷺ called to Islam for 10 years in Makkah, but his people belied and abused him.’
Ten whole years with all their sorrows, pains and suffering are reduced to only a few words!
When one of us is slandered or insulted ONLINE, he remains troubled for the rest of the day!
Your Prophet ﷺ is better than you, his feelings were more sensitive, his abusers were worse, and the slander against him is more untruthful than the slander against you; besides, slander and insult did not reach him while he was sipping coffee behind a phone screen! But rather, was said directly to his face ﷺ, by a person who isn't even equal to a thread in his footwear, peace be upon him!
Do you know why else we occasionally "belittle" the suffering of the Prophet ﷺ?
If one of us were to be abused once: he is tolerant.
If twice: he maintains patience.
If thrice: he controls his temper and hopes for the reward from Allah...
By the fourth time: He loses patience, loses his temper, and he "spits all out", and would complain to the people about the one who wronged him; if in a gathering, he would relentlessly try to bring up the slander and injustice done to him and clear his name, while waiting for the opportunity to retaliate against the one who wronged him twofold.
Whereas ... the Prophet ﷺ experienced 10 years of suffering in Makkah, and never spoke about it! Nor did he convey it to us in the honorable hadiths!!! What we know of it, is only what the Qur'an has outlined in summary or what was narrated by those who saw him ﷺ during that period. He ﷺ didn't pour out his heart about it except to answer Aisha - May Allah be pleased with her - when she asked him about his suffering, so he ﷺ -privately- told her about the journey to Al-Ta'if and what he ﷺ had endured therein.
3500 days in Makkah... Every day enduring abuse, mockery, slander, belying, insults, threats... Allah's messenger ﷺ concealed all this, and stored (its reward) with his Lord the Exalted. He ﷺ didn't count it as a favor to us, nor did he ﷺ tell us about its details so that we may value his sacrifices...
Instead, he ﷺ busied himself with establishing, laying the foundation, and charting for us the way to Allah the Almighty so that we may be with him ﷺ in paradise... Not to mention the additional 10 years that he ﷺ suffered through the abuse of the hypocrites in Medinah... 20 years altogether.
That being said, frankly speaking, if one of us ever feels a belittlement towards the suffering of the Prophet ﷺ, then let him/her look in the mirror and say to himself: "shame on you"... and let him supplicate: O' Allah, reward your messenger ﷺ immensely on our behalf.

🌊 Between Fear and the Miracle | بين الخوف والمعجزة
When Prophet Musa ﷺ stood at the sea, his people panicked.
Behind them: an army.
In front of them: the ocean.
They cried:
إِنَّا لَمُدْرَكُونَ
"We are surely overtaken!" (26:61)
But Musa عليه السلام said with certainty:
كَلَّا ۖ إِنَّ مَعِيَ رَبِّي سَيَهْدِينِ
"No. Indeed, my Lord is with me; He will guide me." (26:62)
Notice something powerful:
The sea did not split immediately.
There was a pause.
A space between fear and the miracle.
That space is called توكُّل — trusting Allah when you see no way out.
Maybe you are standing in that space right now.
The sea hasn’t opened.
The path isn’t visible.
The pressure feels real.
But just because the water still looks solid
doesn’t mean it won’t part.
Hold your ground.
Trust Him.
Allah never abandons those who rely on Him —
even in the silence before the miracle.

Imam Mālik رَحِمَهُ ٱللَّٰهُ said:
“Allah will take revenge on the oppressor with another oppressor, and then He will take revenge on both of them.”
— Manh al-Jalīl (9/195)
There was a time — ten years ago — when things looked completely different.
What felt impossible… what felt blocked… what felt like it would never change…
Allah changed it.
By Allah, You alone are sufficient for us.
What once seemed unreachable, You made possible.
What the world thought could never happen, You showed them it could.
Oppression never lasts. Power never remains in one hand forever.
Allah turns the tides. Allah replaces people. Allah brings justice in ways we never imagine.
Alhamdulillah for witnessing what once seemed impossible become reality.
Alhamdulillah for the One who is always in control.
