Little success in doing righteous deeds, distorted and corrupt views, unable to recognise the truth, a corrupted heart, laziness in remembering Allah, wasting time, being disliked by others, and feeling alienated from one's Lord -all of these are consequences of sins and neglecting the remembrance of Allah.
They also lead to unanswered supplications, hardness of the heart, loss of blessings in one's livelihood and life, being barred from gaining beneficial knowledge (of the religion), humiliation, defeat by enemies, a constricted chest (filled with anxiety), the influence of corrupt friends who corrupt the heart and waste time, prolonged sadness, sorrow, and grief, and ultimately a miserable and depressing life.
These (above mentioned) effects arise from sins and heedlessness of the remembrance of Allฤh. Just as crops grow from water and fire produces burning, conversely, the opposite of all these consequences comes from obedience to Allฤh.

Do you know that Allah has given you two types of provision?
Temporary provision, which is what you own now, but it can disappear in a moment. Your health, wealth, success, and job can all be taken away.
Everlasting provision, which is what remains with you forever. The night prayer while others sleep is provision. Your tears in sujood are provision. Your parents duโa for you is provision. Your love for the Quran is provision. Your good manners, remembrance of Allah, and tawheed are provisions that will last beyond this world.
Do not let temporary provision distract you from the everlasting provision. True provision is the ability to worship Allah.
Chase what lasts, not what fades.

WHAT CORRUPT THE HEART-
Hasan al Basri said:
โThe heart becomes corrupt through six means:
1-Committing a sin in the hope of repenting
2-Seeking knowledge and not applying it
3-Practice without sincerity
4-Eating the sustenance of Allah without appreciating Him
5-Not being pleased with Allahโs allocation (destiny)
6-Burying the dead without learning from themโ

To eat while leaning
Narrated Abu Juhaifa:
Allah's Messenger (๏ทบ) said, "I do not take my meals while leaning (against something).
[Bukhari 5398]
Narrated Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-'As:
The Messenger of Allah (๏ทบ) was never seen reclining while eating..[ Abi Dawud 3770]
Abdullah bin Busr said:
โI gave the Prophet (๏ทบ) a gift of a sheep, and the Messenger of Allah (๏ทบ) sat on his knees to eat. A Bedouin said: โWhat is this sitting?โ He said: โAllah has made me a humble and generous slave (of Allah) and has not made me arrogant and stubborn.โโ [Ibn Majah 3263]
Ibn Battal said: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did this out of humility to God.
The interpretation of what reclining entails varies; some suggest it refers to comfort while eating in any position, while others specify leaning to one side or resting on oneโs left hand. Al-Khattabi clarifies that reclining is associated with leaning back on a cushion rather than simply lying on one side. He emphasizes that the hadith illustrates a modest approach to eating, avoiding excess. Ibn al-Jawzi asserts that reclining specifically means leaning to one side, challenging al-Khattabiโs view.
Al-Hafiz notes that Malik expresses a general dislike for any reclining position when eating. Ibn al-Athir states that interpretations leaning to one side stem from medical perspectives on digestion. Ibn Abi Shaybah, referencing various scholars including Ibn Abbas, Khalid ibn al-Walid, Ubaydah al-Salmani, Muhammad ibn Sirin, Ata ibn Yasar, and al-Zuhri that this is permissible absolutely. This supports that reclining can be permissible; however, the preferred eating position is sitting kneeling or raising one leg while sitting.
Al-Hafiz discusses the varying opinions among early scholars on the practice of eating while reclining. Ibn al-Qass posits that this act was particular to the Prophet, but al-Bayhaqi counters this, suggesting that it may be viewed as an arrogant behavior drawn from Persian kings. He indicates that eating while reclining could be permissible if one has a genuine need to do so. A number of early scholars are cited as having eaten in this manner out of necessity.

If someone had caused you even a fraction of the pain you caused your mother in childbirth, you would struggle to forgive them.
Yet the moment she held you in her arms, her pain faded from her heart. She forgot her suffering and was ready to give you her life, her sleep, her strength, her years.
After a prophet, no human being has greater rights over you than your mother. No title, no career, no status can ever equal the rank of motherhood.

The Three Greatest Trials for Men
Men are destroyed by three things. By Allฤh, no man falls into them except that his religion is weakened, his dignity is damaged, and the blessing in his life disappears.
1โฃ. The first destructive thing is private sins.
When a person is alone, his true state of ฤmฤn is revealed โ whether it is sincere or fake.
The Prophet ๏ทบ said: โI know people from my nation who will come on the Day of Judgment with good deeds as huge as mountains, but Allฤh will make them like scattered dust.โ The companions asked about them. He said: โThey pray as you pray, fast as you fast, and give charity as you give charity. But when they are alone and able to sin, they violate Allahโs limits.โ
How often a man loses his dignity, religion, and purity because of what he does in private.
2โฃ. The second destructive thing is wealth.
The Prophet ๏ทบ said: โEvery Ummah has a fitnah, and the fitnah of my Ummah is wealth.โ
Many people become weak in front of money and feed their children from unlawful earnings.
The Prophet also said: โAny body that grows from unlawful gain, the Fire is more deserving of it.โ
If you want to test a man, test him in money and financial dealings.
3โฃ. The third โ and the greatest โ destructive thing is the temptation of women.
No man falls into it except that poverty comes close to him, the blessing in his life disappears, and his dignity fades.
The Prophet ๏ทบ said: โFear this world and fear women, for the first fitnah of the Children of Israel was through women.โ
Whoever falls into one of these destructive matters loses the blessing in his life, weakens his religion, and may lose his wealth.
Allฤh says: โTell the believing men to lower their gaze and guard their modesty. That is purer for them. Indeed, Allฤh is fully aware of what they do.โ

How strange! You lose a little from you and you cry. And your whole life is wasting and you're laughing.

โIt is disliked for a man to stand for prayer while he is lazy. Rather, he should come to it with a cheerful face, strong desire, and great joy. For indeed, he is conversing privately with Allah, and Allah is before him. He forgives him and loves him when he calls upon Him.โ

Ten Days Of Ramadan Have Passed
Shaykh Saalih Al-Fawzaan [ุญูุธู ุงููู] said:
โSo let us take account of ourselves regarding these ten days that have passed and how they were spent.
Did we have a concern and pay importance by performing acts of obedience to Allaah, and benefit from them?
So whoever has done good in them and had a concern and paid importance to them then what is upon him is to increase in good deeds and complete what remains of the month.
Whoever was heedless in the ten days that have passed and was lazy then it is for him to repent and to rectify what remains of this month before all of it passes away, and he has not attained anything.โ

"There are three who call upon Allaah, the Mighty and Majestic, and He does not respond to them: A man under (whose authority) is a women of evil manners, and he does not divorce her. A man who is owed wealth by another man (i.e. a debt), but he did not (bring anyone to) witness over it (i.e. the loan). And a man who gave his wealth to a fool, and Allaah the Most High says, "And do not give your wealth to the fools..." (Surah Nisaa 4:5).
