Ibn al-Mubarak said:

When you’ve been wronged you expect an apology. At times, it doesn’t come. If a person doesn’t apologise, it’s not because they don't believe they made a mess, but perhaps because they just don't know how. That’s a fact. Try not to take it personally! Forgive them. Move on.

Brotherhood: Allah helps him as long as he helps his brother.

Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever relieves the hardship of a believer in this world, Allah will relieve his hardship on the Day of Resurrection. Whoever helps ease one in difficulty, Allah will make it easy for him in this world and in the Hereafter. Whoever conceals the faults of a Muslim, Allah will conceal his faults in this world and in the Hereafter. Allah helps the servant as long as he helps his brother. Whoever travels a path in search of knowledge, Allah will make easy for him a path to Paradise. People do not gather in the houses of Allah, reciting the book of Allah and studying it together, but that tranquility will descend upon them, mercy will cover them, angels will surround them, and Allah will mention them to those near him. Whoever is slow to good deeds will not be hastened by his lineage.”

Life passes like a single, fleeting moment.

Instead of striving to impress the world, focus on becoming a better human being—and on setting a living example for your spouse, your children, and your family. Long before reputations are formed in public, they are established at home.

I heard more than one of our elder scholars say: the people who truly know a person are their family. Few short and concise statements are more powerful—or more accurate.

Show up for them every day. They are worth it. They matter most. Be bright, radiant souls who illuminate the lives of those closest to them—those who feel your presence not through words, but through consistency, warmth, and care.

Show your children what a loving, dignified marriage looks like. Do not coast through marriage or parenthood on autopilot. Do not take blessings for granted, for blessings are withdrawn when entitlement replaces gratitude.

To be genuine as a spouse and a parent requires intention, presence, and self-awareness. It means caring about the small things. It means paying attention to details that others overlook. What you are building is precious—and it deserves the effort.

Build a legacy so honorable that your great-grandchildren will speak of your marital relationship with affection and pride.

Know that you are a pioneering generation, navigating a vast wilderness of opportunity and trial. You are not wandering aimlessly—you are charting paths where none existed before. Guide your flock with vigilance and mercy—away from valleys where predators lurk and danger lies concealed, and toward high ground where faith, dignity, and safety are preserved.

May Allah protect our Muslim households, make them sanctuaries of warmth and joy, shield them from fitnah and calamity, and reunite us with our loved ones in everlasting gardens.

إنه ولي ذلك والقادر عليه، إنه على كل شيء قدير وبالإجابة جدير

Some people are satisfied with very little, while others always set their sights on the highest ranks.

In every competition, there are participation prizes, and then there is a grand prize reserved only for the top. On the path to Allah, people also have ranks.

Some people put in tremendous effort, they memorize the Quran and live by it, strive against their desires, fast, pray during the night, and help others, so they can be among السابقون (the forerunners), not just those who perform the bare minimum of religious duties. These are the ones Allah chooses and rewards with a special status in this life and the Hereafter.

A believer with strong resolve is never content with the back rows. Their ambition is always higher, to reach the highest level in Paradise, الفردوس (Al-Firdaws).

So raise your ambitions for the Hereafter. What you strive for in this month (Shabaan) will determine your place in Ramadan, and your place in Jannah inshallah.

The Quran in you.
Let people see the Quran in your actions.
Feed the hungry, clothe the needy, be merciful to the orphans, forgive who've mistreated you, and be good to your parents.

It isn't about how far you've reached in the Quran, but how far the Quran has reached in you.

Ibn al-Jawzi said:

“This worldly life only impresses those with no intellect. Similar to how vain dreams please the sleeper, imaginary games are perceived by a child; whereas a sensible person cannot be deceived by such delusion.”

Sheikh 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Naasir al-Sa'di mentioned in his thematic tafsir:

[ ومن ترك شيئا لله عوضه الله خيرا منه ، ومن قدم هواه على طاعة مولاه فقد خسر دينه وتبع ذلك خسارة دنياه . ـ]

"Whoever leaves something for the sake of Allah, Allah will replace it for him with something better than that. But whoever prioritizes his own desires above obedience to his Master, then he has lost his deen and the loss of his dunya follows that."

Ideas are born in the quiet of Tahajjud, when the heart is honest and the world is asleep.

Openings arrive through Istighfar, when burdens are lifted and paths quietly realign.

And true barakah flows from Sadaqah, because what you give for Allah never truly leaves you.

Guidance comes when you pause for dua.

Strength grows when you stay patient in unseen struggles.

And ease finds you when your trust in Allah becomes deeper than your fear.

Who are those whom Allah loves?

Divine mercy is closely connected to the love that fills the hearts of Allah’s servants — those who sense His perfection, majesty, and beauty.

As Allah says:
“Say, [O Muhammad], if you love Allah, then follow me; Allah will love you and forgive you your sins.”

The love of Allah is always linked with doing righteous deeds and avoiding corruption and wrongdoing.

Allah says in the Qur’an:

“Indeed, Allah loves those who are mindful of Him (the righteous).”
“Indeed, Allah loves those who put their trust in Him.”
“Indeed, Allah loves the doers of good.”
“Allah does not love the corrupters.”
“Allah does not love the wrongdoers.”

Shaykh Muhammed bin Salih al-Uthaymeen (d.1421 A.H.) said:
‘Regarding the saying of Messenger –sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam– ‘and the prayer is light (Noor)’ i.e. that the obligatory and optional prayer is light, Noor in the heart, Noor on the face, Noor in the grave, Noor on the day of Hashr, because the hadeeth is absolute, and the one who experiences this will find that Noor.
If you prayed the prayer in reality, in that which you bring your heart to attention to, and your limbs to have Khushoo, you will feel that your heart has become enlightened and it has tasted delight, absolute delight, this is why the Prophet –sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam– said: ‘The sweetness/pleasure of my eyes has been placed in the prayer.’ [Ahmad]

Whenever Allah addressed the Prophet ﷺ:

He did not address his lineage,
nor his wealth,
nor his status,
nor how he looked.

But He تعالى said:
{And verily, U (O Muhammad) are on an exalted standard of character}

Sālih ad-Dimishqi [may Allāh have mercy on him] said to his son:

“O’ my beloved son, if a day and night passes in which your religion, body [i.e. health], wealth and family are all safe then increase in your praises and thanks to Allāh, Exalted be He. For how many people during that same day will have lost their religion, been afflicted with disease, become bankrupt and lost their family members whilst you are in a state of safety and well-being [from Allāh].

Be careful not to become the reason someone turns to Allaah in pain, fear, or deep regret because of you.

Every tear they cry is seen by Him. Every broken prayer is heard.

You may forget what you did, but Allaah never misses the hurt done to His servants. What you cause in silence is never hidden from Him.

So choose kindness. Choose fairness. Because one day, every action will be answered before Him ﷻ

The only way to stop any pain in your life is to accept the fact that nothing is yours, nothing was yours, and nothing will ever be yours.

They are worldly attachments; given by Allah, belonging to Allah and returning back to Allah.

U don't need to tell everything about you to anyone. Stay anonymous! Stay blessed! Happy are those who don't expose themselves. Be a stranger in this world.

"Paradise is surrounded by difficulties, and the one who does not face difficulties will not reach it. If you truly want to strive for Jannah, then be ready for the trials that come with it."

A man once said to Aḥmad Ibn Hanbal (rahimahullah), “May Allah reward you for all you have done for Islam."

He (rahimahullah) replied, "May He reward Islam for what it has done for me." Then he added, "Who am I?…"

Ibn al Jawzi رحمه الله said,

“Endure the nights of hardship, because if you look through the eye of patience you shall see the dawn of reward.

Indeed, the lofty ranks can be attained only by undergoing hardship! Did you not notice the thorns growing beside the roses?”

The Rectification of the Heart Through Its Attachment to Allah!

Whenever the heart becomes attached to a created being, it suffers. Allah ﷻ created this heart and designed it in such a way that it can never be truly sound except when it is attached to its Lord and Sovereign.

Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah says:

“The more the heart increases in love for Allah, the more it becomes devoted in servitude to Him; and the more it increases in servitude, the more it grows in love for Him and excels over all else.”
