Australians are dying in abnormally high numbers, which is creating a boom for undertakers but leaving doctors puzzled as to what is behind the 'worrying' trend, which mirrors what is happening overseas.
Australia’s “Covidsafe” phone app was (supposed to be) a digital tracking program the government wanted to use to identify and track “covid outbreaks” via “check-ins” and logging the location data of users.
Television media in Australia was used in 2020 to generate a hype around the covidsafe app, calling it “the only way out of lockdown.”
$21 million was taken to build the app, which never worked properly and is now being completely scrapped, according to notifications sent out by the app over the past few days.
