⚠️An alternative perspective in the Russia-Ukraine conflict from a Sydney truthseeker:

The primary objective by Putin is to remove the US installed government from 2014 to limit the enroachment of NATO and US forces on Russia’s border. Since the coup, the US, UK & Canada and other western countries have supplied billions of dollars of lethal aid, training services and intelligence intel in the fight against the separatists in the Donbass & Lugansk region. These people refused the new government and got bombarded & shelled for the last 8 years.

With tensions at boiling point, Russia exhausted all possible diplomatic solutions with the Minsk agreement to which has left them no other options than to target military bases, airports and intelligence centres to disarm and destroy ex-soviet and Nato equipment. All the Russians wanted were guarantees from NATO and the Americans in “writing” that they would not put Nato military bases in Ukraine. The West refused to sign this and now we are here.

Everyday Russians and Ukrainians are one people, one religion, one history. We are brothers and sisters. In the bigger picture, this not a war between Ukrainians and Russians as a people, this is a resource power play to who will be the biggest exporter of gas to Europe in the latter of the 21st century and be able to control the flow of global commodities.
