❗️Russian ambassador calls Australia ‘vindictive’ after dead possum thrown over embassy fence.

"Let me recount to you a story,” Pavlovsky told the Canberra Times.

He said a pro-Ukraine protester outside the compound, “choosing a moment when police were not around, threw a dead possum body over the fence to the embassy territory”.

“Most probably, he saw this vulgar act of hooliganism as some form of commendable political signalling,” Pavlovsky told the newspaper.

Australian China Corruption Scandal: NSW State Premier Implicated

A corruption inquiry in Australia has found that the former premier of New South Wales, Gladys Berejiklian, engaged in corrupt conduct related to her secret romantic relationship with fellow lawmaker Daryl Maguire.

The New South Wales Independent Commission into Corruption stated in its report that Berejiklian failed to disclose her concerns about Maguire's potential involvement in corruption, thus violating the ministerial code.

Berejiklian admitted to the inquiry that she had been in a covert relationship with Maguire, who was being investigated for exploiting his position through business dealings with China. Following the investigation, Berejiklian resigned amid allegations of breaching public trust.
