❗️Another set of anti-Russian 🇷🇺 sanctions announced by Australia 🇦🇺 on 19 May, following (as always) the senior allies, will prove just as futile as all the previous packages targeting already more than 1,000 individuals and entities. Russia will not be deterred from dealing with the threats to its national security created by NATO and its Kiev proxies.

☝️Noticeably Australian officials also pretend to be concerned with food and energy instability allegedly caused by Russia. Meanwhile, it is precisely the West's miscalculated and hysterical reaction to Russia's actions in Ukraine that had a negative impact on crucial sectors of their national economies and globally.

With no lessons learnt, Australia, in lockstep with its G7 partners, is doubling down. For instance, sanctioning a major international oil supplier like Rosneft is indeed a dubious contribution to lowering internal fuel prices.
