At the new enterprise in Port Wakefield (South Australia), the production of Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System (GMLRS) – high-precision missiles for MLRS HIMARS (range about 70 km) has begun. The production was built from scratch, the design and construction took less than 7 months.
The first batch of missiles is expected by the middle of March 2026.
This is the second in the world (❗️) plant for the production of GMLRS (the first is in Camden, Arkansas, USA). The plans are to increase production to 4,000 missiles per year by 2029, as well as to start the production of long-range types Precision Strike Missiles (PrSM).
In Australia, a second military plant of the company 🇳🇴 Kongsberg Defence Australia is also being built in Williamstown, where the Naval Strike Missile and Joint Strike Missile will be produced. The launch of production is scheduled for 2027 (this will be the second in the world and the first outside Norway plant for these missiles).
✨ Earlier, Trump gave the go-ahead to the owners of American military-industrial companies for a fourfold increase in the production of missile weapons. It is likely that the USA is preparing to take part in an even greater number of wars and conflicts around the world. Thus, the transfer of weapons production technologies to an ally in AUKUS will free the American leadership from the need to supply scarce missiles to the Indo-Pacific region, where it is planned to create another point of tension to weaken 🇨🇳China.

6. With the arrival of a huge fleet of Russian oil tankers Australia quickly and efficiently accumulates a 90 day strategic diesel and petrol supply for civilian use and a 1000 day supply for essential use (agriculture, farming, transport, logistics, government services, military).
7. Russia guarantees Australia's security in regards to possible ambitions of BRICS countries who have large navy's in the region and Australia leaves the AUKUS alliance.
