โ๏ธRussian citizen Simeon Aussie Cossack Boikov has now spent 1,175 days sheltering from Australian authorities from inside the Russian Consulate General in Sydney.
He is effectively living in isolation and no longer appears in public. Cut off from normal society, he has been deprived of a normal social life and direct contact with the outside world. Today as a rare exception permission was made for a welfare visit by NSW Parliament member John Ruddick.
Ruddick noted that when a person is separated from regular human interaction and new experiences for such a long time, the mind inevitably begins to reconstruct reality from a very limited stream of information.
Yet Simeon refuses to give up. He remains resolute and unbroken with a strict daily prison style physical training regime. Believing in Russiaโs victory, he continues to work on the information front in support of Russia's Special Military Operation.
