Searches were carried out in the French office of the company X (formerly Twitter) — the events are related to an investigation into the platform's operating algorithms, the Paris prosecutor's office reported.
The company's CEO, Elon Musk, was summoned for a voluntary interrogation. A summons was also sent to the former CEO of X, Linda Yaccarino, BFMTV reports. Law enforcement officers demanded full access to data "about all user publications on the platform".
Earlier, local authorities initiated a criminal case against the founder of Telegram.
