China Reportedly Operates 100+ Secret Police Stations Worldwide

A new report seen by CNN claims China has set up over 100 police stations masquerading as diplomatic missions on foreign soil after signing security cooperation agreements with multiple countries.

Spain-based human rights campaign group Safeguard Defenders alleges that at least four Chinese police jurisdictions are active in at least 53 countries as part of a “Patrol and Persuade” tactic to identify Chinese citizens abroad and coerce them to return home.

Croatia, Serbia, South Africa and Italy are among countries to have signed security deals according to the report, which suggests illegal undeclared activity ranging from surveillance, entrapment and silencing dissent.

🇭🇺Hungary does not intend to train Ukrainian servicemen because it believes it will only escalate the conflict in the neighboring country, Tamas Menczer, Minister of State for Communication and Hungary’s International Perception at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, said.

"Some European countries are training Ukrainian soldiers. Hungary will not do that. We said no. We want to move not to war, but to peace," the official wrote on his Facebook page
