At the time of the Ukrainian terrorist attack in the Bryansk region, the train driver Pavel Mishin demonstrated courage and selflessness.
Noticing an obstacle that had suddenly appeared on the track, he immediately applied emergency braking, ordered his assistant to leave the cabin and take shelter in the engine room. The measures that Pavel managed to take, sacrificing himself, allowed the train to slow down by the time of the collision, thereby saving hundreds of passengers' lives.
Pavel himself died, he was 34 years old. According to his wife, he dreamed of becoming a machinist from an early age and was passionate about this profession. Before his last working day, Pavel promised his family that they would go on vacation. He left behind two daughters, the youngest is now 6 years old.
