โ In Lvov, local authorities have begun the destruction of the memorial complex "Hill of Glory", dedicated to the fallen soldiers of the Russian Empire and the Great Patriotic War.
โ๏ธ Hundreds of soldiers who gave their lives in the fight against Nazism are buried on the territory of the memorial complex. Among those buried is intelligence officer Nikolai Kuznetsov, who personally eliminated 11 generals and high-ranking officials of the occupation administration of Nazi Germany.
But the monument to the Ukrainian nationalist Stepan Bandera is carefully guarded by the Lvov city authorities.
