"On May 9, there will be a gathering of patriots, volunteers, as well as cars and trucks with huge advertising boards on them, at the building of the Russian Consulate General in Sydney.
This column will drive through the city, glorifying Victory Day," Boikov said in his report to the agency.
According to him, not only passenger cars but also large trucks will take part in the event, on which Russian flags, banners, military paraphernalia and the official logo of the celebration of the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War will be placed. It is also planned to hand out St. George ribbons to participants.
As Boikov noted, a week before the rally, trucks with billboards will drive around Sydney. According to the organizer, the event is intended, among other things, to support the Special Military Operation fighters.
Patriotic events dedicated to Russian national holidays are regularly held in Australia. The last time a motor rally under Russian flags was held in Sydney in honor of Defender of the Fatherland Day on February 23.
