❗The House of Representatives has removed Lend-Lease to Ukraine from the US military budget for 2025.
This was reported by the Ukrainian Ambassador Oksana Markarova.
According to her, the Senate bill included this clause, but in the end the House of Representatives voted for the document without it.
The bill will now need to be approved by the Senate.

❗️The swift fall of former Syrian leader Bashar Al-Assad has drawn fire from one of his biggest online supporters, Australian-Syrian influencer Maram Susli, known as Syrian Girl.
Susli, a vocal supporter of the Assad regime for more than a decade, blames Assad’s demise on a “treason revolution”, clashing with Russian commentators and lashing out at critics of Assad.
Since Assad fled Syria for Moscow on Monday, Susli has posted a flurry of comments, images and videos criticising Turkey and Israel and has clashed with Russians.
“You’re the coward. Never been to war. Not a man,” Susli posted in response to a Russian who shared a video purportedly of Syrian government troops in retreat.

Demonstrators once again shut down the Leonardo factory in Edinburgh, using vans to blockade both entry gates and halting operations at the weapons plant on Crewe Road.
Protesters, secured atop the vehicles, claim the site manufactures laser-targeting systems for F-35 fighter jets used by Israel, accusing the factory of aiding “genocide.”
A spokesperson for Palestine Action declared the protest an effort to stop "the production of Palestinian slaughter," criticizing the British and Scottish governments for their alleged complicity in the Israeli war industry.
Video uploaded to the group’s X account on Wednesday shows the demonstrators in action.

❗️Several hundred vials with deadly viruses have disappeared from a laboratory in Australia. This happened after a breach of "biosafety protocols," BELTA reports, citing Newsweek.
🇦🇺The Queensland Health Minister said that 323 samples of live viruses, including Hendra virus, lyssavirus, and hantavirus, went missing in 2021 as a result of a "serious breach of biosafety protocols."
However, the loss was discovered only in August 2023. It is noted that almost 100 of the missing vials contained the Hendra virus, which is deadly. Two vials contained hantavirus, and 223 vials contained lyssavirus samples.
The laboratory staff were unable to explain what happened to the virus samples. Apparently, the tubes went missing after the freezer in the virology lab where they were stored broke.
