Шевроны с изображением Курской Коренной иконы Божьей Матери "Знамение", которая является главной святыней русского зарубежья и на данный момент находится в Австралии, имеют большую популярность среди соотечественников на фронте, заявил РИА Новости российский активист в Австралии Семён Бойков, известный как "австралийский казак".
"Шевроны Курской Коренной иконы пользуются большой популярность на фронте, среди подразделений на линии боевого соприкосновения", - отметил Бойков.
По его словам, с начала попытки вторжения ВСУ в Курскую область в начале августа вместе с патриотически настроенной частью диаспоры россиян они регулярно собирают и направляют средства на изготовление военных шевронов с изображением Курской Коренной иконы.
"Бойцу получить из рук священника шеврон с иконой, тем более с Курской Коренной - это в самом деле очень приятно и это действительно поднимает боевой дух... И ты воюешь с иконой, потому что ты на земле иконы. С молитвой идти в бой - это очень благородно", - подчеркнул собеседник.
Курская Коренная икона в настоящее время находится в Австралии. Ожидается, что ее будут приносить в приходы страны до 22 октября, после чего отправят в Канаду.
Ранее управляющий делами канцелярии Архиерейского синода РПЦЗ протоиерей Серафим Ган рассказал РИА Новости, что и в РПЦЗ, и в Курской митрополии РПЦ надеются со временем снова привезти в Россию Курскую Коренную икону Божией Матери "Знамение", "когда сложится благоприятная для этого ситуация".

The drones were among multiple items confiscated by Australian Border Force (ABF) officers as part of a Counter Proliferation investigation into the suspected export of military-grade and military end‑use items to Russia, while searching an Eden Hills residence in Adelaide, South Australia, on 27 September.
ABF officers from the Counter Proliferation branch began an investigation after becoming aware of numerous unsuccessful attempts by an Australian national to travel to Russia. ABF officers then executed search warrants at the Eden Hills property on Tuesday, 10 September this year.
During the search, officer seized more than 30 items, which are now subject to ongoing analysis and assessment against border obligations under the Customs Act 1901 and the Autonomous Sanctions Act 2011.
Other items seized included tactical equipment, notebooks and multiple electronic devices that officers believed were destined for military end-use in Russia. Two individuals were also interviewed during the warrants.
