President Putin explained that he has only met the Telegram CEO once at a business forum many years ago, and hasn’t been in contact since.
“I think the Russian government could have some questions for him,” he said, explaining that there could be some entities or individuals who use the platform to damage the security of some countries.
“If they treat Durov like this, they should perhaps place others under house arrest,” he added.
