🗣Now she wants Aussie Cossack to be "sent back to Russia and blown up". On Facebook she published this manifest:

"So it’s been 8 long weeks but we are able to lay my beautiful boy to rest. He was an Australian fighting for the Ukrainian foreign legion. Something he believed in. To my absolute horror I was just checking social media this morning to find a video of my son’s body being recovered on the site X . I’m not a member of this site but the same guy who posted this today also posted about my son’s death before I even found out. I’m mortified and heartbroken even more than anyone will ever know. Aussie Cossack a Russian who is hiding in  the Russian embassy from the Australian federal police. What a coward. Why isn’t the Russian embassy closed down in Australia and this man arrested for his crimes. Send him back to Russia maybe he’ll get blown up. I have no words to describe this pain I feel. A picture of my beautiful boy. Why can’t they just let you rest in peace"

🇦🇺Instead of starting petitions against Aussie Cossack for publishing this video of their dead son, the family could use this opportunity to denounce foreign fighting and warn other vulnerable young Australian men against travelling to a war zone. "Do not do it - you will die" - should be the message.

New petition demands Simeon ‘Aussie Cossack’ Boikov be stripped of Australian citizenship

A formal petition has been launched by the family of Australian mercenary Brock Greenwood, reportedly killed in fighting in Ukraine, to strip the Sputnik contributor of his Australian citizenship - and has received just a few dozen signatures.

Greenwood’s family claims Boikov “provokes riots, glorifies violence, and showcases disrespect for the deceased by posting videos and pictures of their bodies,” and demands he be removed from the Russian Consulate in Sydney and be charged with spreading fear and hate.

Boikov has been hauled up in the consular building for nearly two years, for what he claims are politically-motivated reasons.
