βοΈSlovakian Prime Minister Robert Fico fully backs Hungarian PM Orban's peace plan. Warns of WW3.
"I couldn't believe my eyes, or actually, I could.
What they did to Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor OrbΓ‘n for deciding, as a sovereign politician, I repeat, as a sovereign politician, to visit Ukraine, Russia, and China to promote peace initiatives.
This is simply not allowed.
If he had gone to convince people that Slavs should kill each other even more intensely, maybe someone would have nominated him for the Nobel Peace Prize.
I don't even know how many times I have publicly repeated that Smer and its deputies will not agree to Ukraine's membership in NATO in the National Council of the Slovak Republic.
I understand Ukraine's desires; it is a sovereign country, but Ukraine's membership in NATO is nothing but a guarantee of World War III.
Although, frankly, even without Ukraine's NATO membership, we are not far from it if we look at how some developed democracies are stoking the fire."

βοΈA Russian-born married couple living in Brisbane have been arrested and accused of spying for Russia.
Asked if they were involved with or in contact with any Russian diplomats in Australia, AFP chief Kershaw replied, βthatβs something weβll be looking at as wellβ.
Speaking alongside ASIO boss Mike Burgess at Australian Federal Police headquarters, AFP Commissioner Reece Kershaw said that a woman, employed by the army for several years as an information systems technician, held a security clearance within the Defence Force.
βWe allege the woman was undertaking non-declared travel to Russia, whilst she was on long-term leave from the Australian Defence Force,β he said.
According to Kershaw, Kira Korolev had been on leave from the Defence Force since 2023, and the AFP will allege she was in contact with her husband Igor back in Australia and instructed him how to log on to her official work account from their Brisbane home.
Kershaw said the Korolevs were arrested by the AFP at their home in Everton Park in Brisbane on Thursday morning and were charged later that day with one count each of preparing for an espionage offence, which carries a maximum 15-year jail sentence.
Asked whether anyone else in Australia was involved in the alleged espionage, Kershaw replied that the investigation so far had not identified any other individuals.
βBut as you know, often when we make an arrest that is the beginning of an investigation.β
Burgess said it was 70 years since the famous 1954 Petrov defections, involving Soviet spies masquerading as Russian diplomats who defected to Australia. Directing his message to Russian spies in western countries, Burgess said: βIf you want to share your secrets, please reach out.β

βοΈSupposedly this 62-year-old labourer from Brisbane & his wife Kira Korolev are Russian spies caught leaking Australian intelligence to the Kremlin from Brisbane.

βοΈThe manager of the apartment building in Everton Park, Brisbane collaborated with Australian intelligence agencies to give them keys to the Russian couple's apartment whilst they where not home. (Planted evidence?)
It's unclear how long they have been under investigation, but the building manager of the complex they lived in confirmed authorities contacted him around three months ago, and he provided them the keys to access their unit.
Police will allege the pair sought the information with the intention to provide it to Russian authorities β whether it was actually shared is still a subject of Operation BURGAZADA's investigation.
Mr Korolev's charge sheet alleged that he had "maintained a relationship with members or affiliates of Russian federation intelligence services" for the purpose of sharing information.
Australian Police say further spying charges could be laid as Operation BURGAZADA continues.
