❗️Ukrainian man who launched drone with a Russian flag over Berlin's Reichstag faces jail.
The unmanned aerial vehicle carrying a Russian flag and St George's ribbons was launched from Friedrich-Ebert Platz and flew near the Reichstag. A video of this incident appeared on social networks a few days after the incident.
In addition, Berlin authorities introduced a ban on the use of Russian and Soviet symbols during celebrations dedicated to Victory Day on May 8 and 9. Prohibited attributes included flags, St. George ribbons, military uniforms, and the V and Z symbols.
An exception was made for diplomatic representatives and other persons with special privileges. Military marches and songs, as well as flags with the coats of arms of Belarus, Crimea and Chechnya and other symbols were also subject to restrictions.

The drone was launched by a native of Ukraine, 41-year-old Ivan T. He is a supporter of the SVO in Ukraine and lives in Potsdam. According to RTVI, police arrested a man for flying a drone near the Reichstag.
