Since the beginning of the Military operation in Ukraine "pro-Putin" United Australia Party Candidates have been resigning in disagreement with the UAP condemning Russia as "the bad guy".
So far we know of the following resignations:
📌NSW Senate Candidate Sean Ambrose
📌Seat of Flinders Morgan Jones
📌Seat of Macnamara, Jefferson Earl
⚠️Sources close to the UAP have confirmed more candidates from Victoria, Tasmania and NSW may be poised to resign in the days to come.
Candidates have listed the following reasons for resignation;
🔴A lack of resources and organisation from the party
🔴The apparent "party ban" on candidates speaking out in support of Russia to the media.
🔴Party leader, Craig Kelly, has told the Guardian: “It is very important that the entire world is united in condemning Putin’s conduct to the Ukraine.”
PS. Personally I think Craig Kelly is a good, honest guy who genuinely fights for Australian's Freedom. It seems UAP leadership have misjudged their position on the war.
