Kia just dropped the EV9 Nightfall Edition at the New York Auto Show, and unlike most “special” trims we’ve seen over the years (looking at you, random Corvette and MX-5 versions), this one might actually be worth a second look.

On the surface, it’s a mid-range EV9 Land with a new vibe:
🖤 Gloss-black touches on the grille, skid plates, mirrors, roof rails, and caps.
🖤 A sleek all-black interior with upgraded stitching and a sportier finish.
🖤 Fresh 20-inch wheel design.
🖤 Optional exclusive paint color: Roadrider Brown (although Kia decided to show it off in Glacial Pearl White instead... go figure).

But here’s the twist: it’s not just about looks.
The Nightfall Edition gets the Boost mode from the GT-Line, unlocking the full 379 hp and ramping up torque from 443 lb-ft to 516 lb-ft. Translation?

🔹 LIVE SALE PHASE
If your bid is the highest in pre-bidding, it will be automatically submitted during the live auction.

✅ If your bid is the highest in the live sale and meets the seller’s reserve price, you win the car.
✨ Here’s the best part:
Even if your max bid is $10,000, you could win the vehicle for less, as long as:
1. No one outbids you

2. The seller’s reserve price is met
