2026 Toyota Corolla Cross: Fresh Look, Sporty Vibes

The Corolla Cross has never been known for excitement, but Toyota’s 2026 update gives it more personality. A key highlight is the new GR Sport trim—though it’s not a true Gazoo Racing model like the Lexus LBX Morizo RR.

Design Updates
Up front, the SUV now sports a honeycomb grille, sharper headlights, and—on High-grade trims—an LED light bar. At the rear, subtle tweaks include redesigned taillights with tiny “aero fins” (claimed to improve stability) and refreshed 18-inch wheels across the lineup.

Interior & Tech
Inside, Toyota added a larger center console, updated gear shifter, wireless charging, and new screens: a 10.5-inch infotainment display and a 12.3-inch digital cluster. Comfort has also been improved.

European buyers get two hybrid options:
- Hybrid 140: 1.8L + electric motor = 138 hp

- Hybrid 200: 2.0L + electric motor = 194 hp

GR Sport Trim
Though power remains unchanged, the GR Sport trim gets a sportier look with a unique bumper, 19-inch black wheels, and Storm Grey paint. It rides 10 mm lower, features retuned suspension, sharper steering, paddle shifters, and adds Sport and Snow Extra modes.

Set to launch in Europe by mid-2025, the updated Corolla Cross will reach other markets later.

🚘 2026 Toyota bZ: New Name, Big Upgrades

After debuting in Europe, Toyota’s updated EV is coming to America with a fresh name – meet the Toyota bZ (formerly bZ4x). And it's more than just rebranding – it’s sharper, smarter, and more efficient.

🔧 Bold New Look
The familiar “hammerhead” face is now more aggressive with sharper LED headlights and redesigned bumpers. Fresh 18- or 20-inch alloy wheels and body-colored fenders (in select colors) add polish to the 184.6-inch crossover.

🖥️ Smarter Interior
Inside, you’ll find a 14-inch touchscreen, dual wireless chargers, and 64-color ambient lighting. New paddle shifters let you control regenerative braking for a more responsive feel.

⚡ Better Performance & Range
Built on Toyota’s e-TNGA platform, the bZ gets more power:

AWD: 338 hp (up from 215 hp)
FWD: 221 hp (up from 201 hp)

Thanks to a larger 74.7 kWh battery, range now reaches 314 miles (505 km). A base model with a 57.7 kWh battery still offers 236 miles (380 km).

The bZ is now compatible with Tesla Superchargers via NACS, with 30-minute fast charging and a new battery preconditioning system for optimized performance.

Launching in the second half of 2025, the bZ will be available in XLE and Limited trims with both FWD and AWD. Pricing is still under wraps.

It’s Toyota’s only EV in North America for now – but not for long. A bigger, all-new electric SUV is on the horizon.
