57 KB
Dear Students,
๐ Please be informed that if you are considering an academic appeal, we kindly advise you to start by reviewing the feedback provided on the assignment and to meet with your Module Leader if you have questions or concerns (refer to the email below).
Next, please be aware of the Academic Appeal process as follows.
๐ Grounds for Appeal:
Any material irregularity in the decision or procedures of the Progression and Award Board, or the MC claim process. A โmaterial irregularityโ consists of where you believe the University did not follow its regulations or procedures, and this has affected your mark.
โ The following is the checklist to make sure that:
1. All marks have been officially confirmed.
2. You have met with your Module Leader.
3. You have identified evidence of a material irregularity.
4. To proceed with an appeal, use the form attached. It contains links to additional information that may be useful.
5. In the period of 1st June through 19th June 2026, you may submit your completed and signed form with the evidence of an irregularity attached in your email, and send to: AcademicAppeal@wiut.uz
6. The period of consideration is 20 working days, and the outcome will be sent to your email.
7. If you have any referred assessment, do not wait until your appeal is resolved, but you must retake that assessment according to the decision of the Board.
โ Students cannot appeal based on the following grounds:
Academic judgment: You were given a mark that you feel is unfair and should be higher.
๐ง Should you have further questions, please feel free to contact the Academic Support at academicsupport@wiut.uz or Gulnara Mace, Senior Officer on academic policy at gmace@wiut.uz .
