The group #ONF has parted ways with WM Entertainment after eight years of collaboration; however, they will continue to promote together under the same name. Previously, #USPEER and #B1A4 also left the label.
On January 27, WM Entertainment announced on its official social platforms that the exclusive contracts with #ONF will be terminated on January 29. The agency explained that the decision was reached after "a long period of careful and repeated discussions" with the group members.
Thus, ONF concludes an eight-year partnership with WM Entertainment that began even before their debut. Despite the end of the contract, both sides emphasized that the group is not disbanding. The company added:
"The six members will be able to continue group activities under the name ONF."
WM Entertainment expressed sincere support for the members' future, stating:
"Accordingly, even after the end of the contract, the company will continue to provide the necessary cooperation and support for ONF's activities."
The agency also noted that they will always follow the members' path with warm encouragement.
#ONF debuted in August 2017 with their first mini-album "ON/OFF" and gained fame through songs like "I Will Love You," "Beautiful Beautiful," and "Why." In early 2025, the group released their second full-length album "ONF: My Identity" with the title track "The Stranger." In February 2025, this song brought ONF their first win on a terrestrial music show โ KBS2TV Music Bank โ nearly eight years after their debut. Additionally, last July, they released the special 8th-anniversary single "Summer Light," and in November, the mini-album "Unbroken."
At this time, details regarding the group's next steps, including signing with a new agency or independent activities, have not yet been revealed. However, the members and WM Entertainment assured FUSE fans that #ONF's group activities will continue without interruption.
