Deepfake รฉ uma tecnologia que utiliza inteligรชncia artificial para criar vรญdeos falsos, sobrepondo o rosto de uma pessoa ao corpo de outra. No dia 25 de janeiro, o Tribunal Distrital de Uijeongbu condenou o homem, identificado como "A", a 1 ano e 6 meses de prisรฃo, com suspensรฃo da execuรงรฃo da pena por 3 anos. Isso significa que ele nรฃo cumprirรก a pena na prisรฃo, a menos que viole as condiรงรตes da liberdade condicional durante esse perรญodo.
"A" foi acusado de gerenciar um chat no Telegram por cerca de quatro meses, comeรงando em dezembro de 2024. Durante esse tempo, ele usou programas de ediรงรฃo para criar cerca de 330 imagens e vรญdeos pornogrรกficos falsos, sintetizando os rostos de celebridades famosas e conhecidos seus em corpos nus. Foi confirmado que entre as vรญtimas estavam integrantes de grupos femininos de destaque, como #aespa, #LESSERAFIM e #NewJeans.
Esta decisรฃo judicial foi proferida em meio ao endurecimento das medidas por parte das agรชncias de entretenimento. Anteriormente, a Source Music, agรชncia do grupo LE SSERAFIM, declarou uma polรญtica de "tolerรขncia zero" para tais crimes. A man who created and distributed illegal, sexually explicit "deepfake" content featuring popular idol groups has been sentenced to a suspended prison term.
Deepfake is a technology that uses artificial intelligence to create fake videos by overlaying a person's face onto someone else's body. On January 25, the Uijeongbu District Court sentenced the man, identified as "A", to 1 year and 6 months in prison with a 3-year stay of execution. This means he will not serve time in prison unless he violates the conditions of his probation during this period.
"A" was accused of managing a Telegram chat for approximately four months, starting in December 2024. During this time, he used editing software to create about 330 fake pornographic images and videos, synthesizing the faces of famous celebrities and his acquaintances onto nude bodies. It was confirmed that the victims included members of leading girl groups such as #aespa, #LESSERAFIM, and #NewJeans.
This court decision was issued amid tightening measures by entertainment agencies. Previously, Source Music, the agency for LE SSERAFIM, declared a "zero tolerance" policy toward such crimes. The company emphasized that it would take strict legal action without any settlements to protect its artists from malicious content and sexual harassment, reflecting the industry's intensified fight against digital sexual crimes.
