Two accidents happened 2.5km apart in Hougang on Tuesday (March 24) morning.

The first accident, at about 4am along Hougang Avenue 2, involved a Mitsubishi Lancer which self-skidded and crashed into a lamp post.

The second accident, at about 5.50am along Hougang Avenue 3, involved a waste collection truck which self-skidded and crashed into a tree.
