😡 'I was wrong': Malaysian influencer fined over $12k for video prank giving homeless man chicken bones

In August 2025, Tang and his content creator friends filmed themselves eating fried chicken at a fast food outlet in Johor Bahru.

Remarking that they should not waste food, they said they would "donate" the bones to someone in need as a "good deed".

They offered it to the rough sleeper who appeared shocked when he unwrapped the packet to see the chicken bones, and a person behind the camera flashed a thumbs-up sign.

Tang was fined RM40,000 (S$12,800) on Thursday (Jan 29) for the "extremely offensive" video.

😱 2-year-old boy dies in Malaysia after being left in car for 9 hours while mother went to work

Preliminary investigations found that the 35-year-old mother forgot to send her child to the babysitter at around 8am and left him in her vehicle before she went to work at a nearby bank.

🚌 No requirement for bus passengers to wear seat belts after Hong Kong makes 'U-turn' on new law

👮Woman arrested over assault on 2 restaurant workers in Malaysia; damages cost over $14k

The incident occurred when the 29-year-old suspect asked one of the restaurant workers to transfer money into her bank account.

When the staff member refused, the woman reportedly became aggressive, punching and kicking him before stabbing another employee with a fork.
