"Non-metal movie edition?" Unfortunately, yes. Your 'ol host SPH has been plenty busy lately and subsequently hadn't planned/compiled a playlist for tonight's program. However, I've queued up a couple of good movies to fill in for the night: SIN CITY (2005) and SIN CITY: A DAME TO KILL FOR (2014)!

Then it's on to the shows of the evening. As the past many weeks we return to Georgia where the world as we know has ended in a bitey manner and the dead are lumbering around in THE WALKING DEAD.
Finally, Frank Black will once more use his uncanny instincts or perhaps they're even psychic abilities to solve crimes in the dark world of MILLENNIUM!

Going gritty tonight with a, to most, foreign film. This was the breakthrough movie of Danish director Nicolas Winding Refn who went to make such movies as Bronson and Drive.
For a week we follow Frank, a low-level heroin dealer in Copenhagen as he gets into serious debt to his supplier, a ruthless man named Milo, after a drug deal goes awry. Frank must draw on all his resources to get out of this with his life and limbs intact but will he make it?

Tonight we feature a second movie, this one a little more lighthearted.
In Texas Earl, an auto mechanic, is living at his mom's house with his fiancé, Baby, who dreams of making it big as an actress in L.A. but their plans to move there is made difficult when Baby's cousin, Junior, ends up with a lot of drug through every fault of his own. Now Earl must sort things out!
