While it is essential to articulate your career goals and desired trajectory, do not overlook the time you will spend at the school earning the degree.

Similar to the above, admissions committees want to see that applicants are passionate about and genuinely interested in the field they are planning to study. Have you been working in this field for some time already? Have you made contributions to the field through previous research projects or work experience?
