🔬 Research Areas
Selected students will conduct cutting-edge research in one or more of the following areas:
• Smart agriculture and precision farming systems
• UAV-based remote sensing, data processing, and analytics
• Agricultural robotics, automation, and autonomous systems
• Computer vision and artificial intelligence for agricultural applications
• Advanced sensors and embedded systems for biosystems engineering
🎓 Qualifications
Applicants should hold (or expect to hold) a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:
• Biosystems Engineering
• Agricultural & Biological Engineering
• Electrical Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
• Computer Science
• or a closely related field
Strong research potential and excellent written and oral communication skills in English or Korean are required.
⭐️ Preferred (but Not Required) Skills
• Experience with microcontrollers and electronic circuit design
• Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, C/C++, Java, MATLAB)
• Background in computer vision and image processing
• Solid understanding of artificial intelligence and neural network models (e.g., deep learning, CNNs)
• Experience in robotic manipulator modeling, control, and/or motion planning
• Understanding or hands-on experience with autonomous driving systems or mobile robot navigation
• Hands-on experience with UAV platforms and remote sensing applications
