THE VOICE OF GOD!
One of the greatest benefits of our salvation has to be that of hearing God speak to us personally. There can be no intimate relationship with our heavenly Father without it. But, as easy as it is for us to speak to Him, the average Christian has a hard time hearing His voice. This is not the way the Lord intended it to be.
Learning to clearly distinguish God’s voice is invaluable. Instead of going through life blindly, we can have the wisdom of God guide and protect us.
There isn’t a single person reading this who couldn’t have their life radically transformed by hearing the voice of the Lord better. The worst marital problem is one word from the Lord away from a total turnaround.
If you have sickness or disease, one living word from the Lord will instantly heal you. If you are in financial crisis, the Lord knows exactly how to turn your situation around. It’s just a matter of hearing His voice.
The Lord constantly speaks to us and gives us His direction. It’s never the Lord who is not speaking, but it’s us who are not hearing. Jesus made some radical statements about hearing His voice in John 10:3-5. He was speaking about Himself as the Shepherd of the sheep and the only way to enter the sheepfold.
“To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice; and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out. And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.
As we journey through 2024 and beyond let's be intentional about hearing is voice on every matter, only then can we be guaranteed of a smooth sailing through life.
Have a glorious weekend 😊

MORNING GLORY 🌞
Eph.4.32 - And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
UNFORGIVENESS!!
There is a power available to us when we walk in forgiveness, Forgiveness means to send away, release, and to remit.
There is a power when God forgives our sin that releases our guilt and repositions us with Him. There is a power when we forgive others that removes bitterness and lifts the weight of unforgiveness. And there is a power that restores and builds our self-esteem when we forgive ourselves and others.
📌 “To forgive is to set a prisoner free and discover that the prisoner was you”
📌“It's not an easy journey, to get to a place where you forgive people. But it is such a powerful place, because it frees you”.
📌"I think the first step is to understand that forgiveness does not exonerate the perpetrator. Forgiveness liberates the victim. It’s a gift you give yourself
When we don’t forgive, we open the door to bitterness, anger, malice, vengeance, hate, and resentment. These emotions can be toxic to our soul and cause anxiety, depression, elevated blood pressure, vascular resistance, decreased immune response and more. The power of walking in forgiveness mitigates these health concerns.
Walking in forgiveness is not easy. It can be one of the more difficult things to do as a believer. You might have had a broken relationship that have let to bitterness in your heart, today decide to let it go.
It’s natural to hold on to an offence, or desire that the person pays for their offence. And we all make bad choices towards others and do things that cause us to see ourselves as damaged. And arrogance can lead to not looking to God for forgiveness. These make forgiveness difficult. Yet, u forgiveness can have negative consequences
As much as we may desire the offender to experience something we would consider as recompense for their acts, ultimately judgment for sin belongs to God. Let that thought and desire go. That’s not our place, but Gods. Forgive them, let it go and live forward.
Pause and ask yourself the following reflective question. Are you currently holding on to an offence, desiring the person somehow pays for it? How does it feel deep in your heart? Forgive; let that desire to see them experience the recompense of their sin go; that God’s job.
Unforgiveness towards others defiles our heart and causes bitterness. (Hebrews. 12:14-15 )
Unforgiveness is toxic to our hearts. It can be an inward cancer that can impact your relationships, perceptions and even our health. Forgiveness removes the weight and defilement of bitterness and assist us in keeping our hearts clean.
.
Walking in forgiveness is a choice that we make that impact’s every part of our lives. Decide this Sunday to free someone from that prison of your heart.
Prayer 🙏
📌 Lord thank you for making me see yet another day.
📌 Lord break the power of unforgiveness in my life, help me to forgive those who have hurt me Lord.
Happy Sunday ☺️

MORNING GLORY 🌞
Heb.10.22 - Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.
A CLEAR CONSCIENCE!!
Conscience can be defined as “an inner feeling that acts as a guide to the rightness or wrongness of one’s behavior.” The conscience is the part of the human soul that is most like God .
Those who disbelieve God have a difficult time explaining the existence of the human conscience. Evolution cannot account for this facet of the human spirit, which cannot be explained by a “survival of the fittest” mentality.
The conscience of man was awakened when Adam and Eve disobeyed God’s command and ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
Before that, they had known only good. The word knowing in Genesis 3:5 is the same word used elsewhere to describe sexual intimacy.
When we choose to “know” evil by intimate experience, our consciences are violated and emotional discomfort takes over. Whether we acknowledge God or not, we were created to have fellowship with our Creator. When we do wrong, we sense that we are at odds with our created purpose, and that feeling is deeply disturbing.
Humans have tried a variety of things to clear their consciences, from charity work to self-mutilation. History is replete with examples of mankind’s efforts to appease his conscience, but nothing works. So he often turns to other means of drowning out that inner voice that declares him guilty. Addictions, immorality, violence, and greed are often deeply rooted in the fertile soil of a guilty conscience.
However, since all sin is ultimately a sin against God, only God can redeem a violated conscience. Just as He did in the Garden of Eden, God provides us a covering through the sacrifice of something perfect and blameless.
God sent His own Son, Jesus, into the world for the purpose of being the final, perfect sacrifice for the sins of the whole world (John 3:16).
When Jesus went to the cross, He took upon Himself every sin we would ever commit. Every violated conscience, every sinful thought, and every evil act was placed upon Him. All the righteous wrath that God has for our sin was poured out on His own Son.
Just as an innocent animal was sacrificed to cover Adam’s sin, so the perfect Son was sacrificed to cover ours. God Himself chooses to make us right with Him and pronounce us forgiven.
We can have our consciences cleansed when we bring our sin, our failures, and our miserable attempts to appease God to the foot of the cross. The atonement of Christ forgives our sin and cleanses our conscience (Hebrews 10:22
Prayer!
📌 O God thank you for today.
📌 Cleanse my heart LORD from guilt and grant me a clear conscience before you.
