We are immensely pleased to inform you that *APSSDC* has collaborated with *Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC)* Hyderabad to offer an online industrial training program for upskilling students of *B.E/B.Tech(CSE, IT and ECE)* and other equivalent disciplines titled *“C-DAC’s HARmonized industry skilling program through Online Training(CHARiOT)”*.

As part of this program, 3 courses on emerging technologies are currently being offered:

1. Blockchain Technology and Application Development (BLEND)
2. Hardware Design & Development for Embedded Systems and Internet of Things (HANDS-ON)
3. Multilingual CrossPlatform Mobile App Development using React Native Framework and Firebase (MENTOR)

The program aims to equip students with a practical understanding and exposure to emerging technologies as per industry processes and standards. These courses will be covered in an online mode for *4 weeks* and will be facilitated by R&D experts of C-DAC. The members will be required to undergo about *100 hours* of conceptual and practical oriented training and will receive a *C-DAC certificate on successful evaluation*.

In this regard an introductory meet with all the engineering college principals, Deans & HODs of CSE/IT/ECE branches is scheduled.

Oracle Academy is organizing a Faculty training on Java Fundamentals dated 4th Oct 2021. The training model has been changed to Supported Self Study, details of which are mentioned below:


Faculty Development Programs (SSS)- FDP module has been upgraded to Supported Self Study (SSS) in which, now the training will continue from 9 to 18 weeks depending on the course in which you will enrol. In SSS, the training will be set up in Member Hub and the trainer from Oracle will take 2 sessions – an orientation session on the first day of training (90 minutes) and the final session on the last day of training (90 minutes). Apart from these sessions faculty must complete the course on their own in 18 weeks or less. In case, you need support from the trainer in between 18 weeks, then you can write a mail or contact the trainer directly and accordingly a separate zoom call will be set up by the trainer for resolving those queries.
