The firebombing set was the first with the 'Jane's Revenge' claim of responsibility which was subsequently used in a number of other attacks. The plea isn't too surprising, as the evidence is strong and he had recently lost several motions to suppress. There are 2 others who were involved that are still unknown (DNA of 3 on the firebomb), no indication of cooperation in plea deal as to him identifying those people.
