According to a letter filed last night, Federal prosecutors are backing off the terrorism enhancement in the Urooj Rahman and Colinford Mattis 2020 #NYC #riots firebombing case
The terrorism enhancement would have put a potential sentence at 5-10 years
In addition to this, EDNY USAO is backing off the guideline non-terrorism enhancement sentence of 37-46 months in favor of recommending a non-guideline sentence of 18-24 months.
Both are set to be sentenced later this month.

He's now charged with second degree murder and has been denied bail.
