Heathendom is the ethnic spirituality of the Germanic people. Therefore, to be Heathen one must be Germanic — that is to say, of Germanic ancestry.

This should be self-evident because Heathendom is cultural, based on the folk traditions of those Germanic people who have maintained their Germanic ancestry since time immemorial to the present.

It's not a creed or a book.

No amount of studying "the lore" or parroting Heathen platitudes will turn someone who is not Germanic into someone who is.

It's not a DNA report.

It's who you are. It's binary: you are "of the blood", or you aren't. And if you don't already know that you are, then you probably aren't.
