Regarding "Odin world prayer day" and similar ideas. The thought behind it is well-meaning but I still don't support it. Scheduled prayers is a foreign concept to Norse paganism and I think it's time we step out of the box of organized religion and find true spirituality.

If you want to actively work on your connection to the gods, one thing you can do is utiseta (basically outdoor meditation). And talk to everything around you in nature as if they heard you - they do.

In ancient times, people didn't see a big conflict between the soul (spiritual) and the body (material). They recognized that there were differences between the spiritual and material aspects of life, but these differences weren't enough to create a huge divide or conflict. Instead, they saw the spiritual and material as parts of a whole, interconnected and influencing each other. The tension between these two aspects wasn't strong enough to make people see them as completely separate or opposing forces. Instead, they believed that everything, including both the tangible and the intangible, was interconnected and contributed to the overall experience of life.

The most Pagan thing you can do is more than learning written myths, or performing ancient rituals, etc. Written things can be lost, and have been lost. Written words can be twisted. As it is, writings that have survived have been written mostly by non pagans.. The most Pagan thing you can do is connect with intuition. Connect with your ancestors through intuition and through blood. Written words can be lost, but the memory in your blood cannot. The memory is there in the blood, the blood that flowed through your ancestors veins and now flows through yours. The most Pagan thing you can do is learn to connect with that intuition and with all of nature around you.🌿
