Some more shots from an English mate in Yorkshire🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Back in 2011 I went to Gudvangen to volunteer on a very humble project, a vision of my friends father to build an historical living village. I spent that summer barefoot in a linen dress and sleeping in a tent, preparing food for the helpers. It was the first place I really started to sit with nature and this journey awoken something very ancestral in me. My friend had a small Viking ship we would sail into the fjord to share a smoke. A friend started to chant the runes on these voyages and later went onto form Heilung. Wardruna would also often come to this fjord and preform small intimate concerts or hold workshops. I was very young at the time and in some ways still a bit broken but something very special happened in those years in that place, it was a meeting point of some kind for pagan visionaries tying to reawaken spirit. I am very honored for those years in that beautiful place with my folk.☀️
