Locknesjön (The Lockne Lake) is a lake in Jämtland, Sweden that was created by a meteorite impact 458 million years ago by a 600 meter large part of an asteriod. The lake have a dept of 57,4 meters, an area of 26,6 square kilometers and is located at 327,9 meters above sea level.
Locknesjön is a cold water source, and when the sunlight hits right, you can spot burbots moving at the bottom. Burbot is a fish that is related to cod. Among the cod-like fishes, the burbot is the only one that lives in freshwater.
Locknesjön is located in Lockne parish, which has medieval origins. There is about 40 burial mounds from the Iron Age and desolate farms from the Middle Ages have been found. Also fifthy catch pits has been located in the woods of Lockne.

The etymological notion of a ‘Good Friday’ comes right from the names of Freyja which means gladsome, sweet, happy (frolic, frohlichen) and Frigg the beautiful, free. German ‘Freitag’ is also free day. The Danish names Venusstraa and Venusgras seem to have arisen out of some Latin influence with dies Veneris. So for heathens, every Friday can be good as named for our goddesses! And Easter lent her name to Eosturmonath, the month of April.
Interesting info on the so called "Rune of Óðinn".. Thanks to Tribe of the Fox for a post bringing it to attention.. We've seen this with symbols like the Vegvisir as well. We find out that they are newer symbols (definitely not ancient Viking symbols) possibly related to jewish or judeo-christian characters from the 14th century or other periods.
The more you look the more questions there are. How much of what we think is the history and traditions of our Folk actually belongs to us? We know that things like the Eddas were probably assembled by christian authors. It wouldn't be out of the realm to discover that everything we have of written history related to our ancient folk is incorrect or at least heavily distorted. We've watched them redefine and change perception of history in real time over the last 30 years. Personally I feel I just can't be confident about the information we have. I Feel that working with intuition and blood memory can probably bring us to a closer understanding and connection of who we are.

The so called "Rune of Óðinn" is often said to be a symbol for camouflage, deception and illusion. However, it isn't what it seems to be. And that, in itself, is an illusion, and used by some to create deception for personal gain.
