What it's coming down to is that if you are really against globalism and for adhering to older traditional ways, then there is going to have to be a split at some point where you remove yourself as much as possible from the globalist machine. You can't continue to be a part of the machine and use it to your advantage, or advancement, and be for, and promoting older traditional ways. It seems like some people want to have their cake and eat it too. The "movement" is supposed to be away from globalism and its power structure, and toward traditionalism, self reliance and responsibility. This would mean a person who devotes themselves to something like homesteading and local community and limits the trappings of social media, is a better example to follow than one who makes presentations and does tours like some kind of an evangelist.

I don't know about other people, but I got more out of people like Varg than I did out of any "scholar". And Varg is more fitting of a "Pagan" than any "scholar" out there. It's interesting that, for the greater part in any "movement", the outliers and the banned are the ones who provide the most useful information, because in reality a "movement" just turns into an illusory opposition to "authority" where those who are seen as the leaders now become the authority.

Here is the rough sneak-peek of the upcoming Midsummer artwork. The piece will feature the Midsummer Maiden (or Maiden Queen), as well as the totem animals of the Hyperboreans. I will proceed with the actual painting next month, so for now, the shading will have to suffice; though it leaves much to be desired 😅I'm not good when it comes to shading. I began to paint the bear because I could not resist. Hopefully I will come up with something really outstanding!

Edit: I have been informed her eyes are a bit off, but I'll fix that as I paint. There are a lot of imperfections.

So many engrossed with technology and gadgetry, mesmerized by media through film, sports, music, video games, etc. People dream of discovering foreign places, of the future, of traveling to space and other worlds. The focus is shifted away from our natural reality. We're programmed to view it as antiquated, obsolete, boring. Nobody recognizes anymore that we are living in the most incredible place in the known universe. One look around us and we see that nothing we could ever imagine could be any more amazing than the natural world we exist in. There is wonderment surrounding us every day. The most amazing place in existence is right here, right outside.
