Handfasting

The phrase, "tying the knot", comes from ancient Northern European (Celtic/Nordic) tradition and culture - it was part of one of several wedding traditions in the ancient society.

In pre-christian times, when a man and woman chose to be married, they were brought together in a ceremony to have a braided cord tied around their hands. This ritual was known as handfasting.

The cords, or in some cases, ribbons, were made of different colored threads and decorated with small silver details, usually depicting typical motifs, such as a sword, ax, and different types of coins.

This act acknowledged the pair's engagement, which typically ran the length of a year.

It was a public declaration of intent to marry, signaling to potential suitors that the woman was intended to her betrothed and not to be harassed.

After the year was up, the couple either declared their intent to be married or declared that they weren't a good match. Both would then be free to choose another suitor and bride.

Christianization was a tragedy, but we should understand that it was very superficial and mostly effected the urban minority. The very word pagan (or heathen) is proof of that. The takeover was often violent, yes, but never a real war. Idols and temples were destroyed, but no one invaded homes. Adoption of christianity had immediate, direct effect only on pagan priests, while the citizens were indeed offended, but not to the boiling point. Still, there was a lot of pagan rebellions and some of them are mentioned in the sources while it is safe to assume that the majority were intentionally omitted by the chroniclers. Even when people began forgetting the names of Gods, they still honored them. Saints got a lot of pagan features and in someregions people stayed properly pagan even up to 19th century. The "conquest" of pagan Europe was a slow subversion, not a blitzkrieg. They were brainwashing children, manipulating the lower class and buying the trust of authorities. Typical jewish strategy.

What do you see?...
What does he see?

It's good to see our ancient folk culture reaching our people more and more each day. But one area where this is happening is actually quite annoying at times, and this is how it is reaching christians and how they are appropriating our ancient culture thinking that it somehow fits with christianity instead of realizing and admitting that christianity condemned it. I see christians with runes in their social media profiles. I see them sharing memes about the folk and the land, "blood and soil", etc. These things are folkish. They come from our ancient Ethnic Folk Spirituality, not the desert religion of yahweh. The reality of who we are cuts through to them and they can't help but be attracted back to the truth, back to the heath. But they still struggle to let go of the semetic god, somehow thinking this god fits with the Folk. It's an absolute contradiction to hold on to both things at the same time. There will come a point where they have to cast one off. I feel a certain amount of confidence that many will cast off the foreign ideology and return fully to the ways of their ancient ancestors. Nature can be held at bay for periods, but in the end it will always win. We will always return to the natural state of truth.

Not going to add much as my friend here said it all. But i have to say that i agree fully. Being on GAB i see this quite often. From christians using Runes, to posting memes regarding Folk, Blood & Soil, and so on. The thing that really grinds my gears though is how they will take all the types of attacks we as White, Ethnically European people face day after day and somehow find a way to make it about their religion. And i see this constantly. Just yesterday i saw something that was a blatant "anti-White" attack and christian after christian commented beneath it and made it all about their faith and said nothing about their ethnicity. In fact, most of them believe being White and being christian are one and them same and can not be separated. And it fucking makes me crazy because they are so close to the truth. So close in fact a blind Man could see it. Yet they do not. The conditioning runs so deeply that my hope for it being undone is something i can only take day by day. I can't understand why anyone would choose the ideology of something that damn near destroyed their ancestral culture and then fight to protect it. The only thing i can say to make it make sense is something i have said before. They have a near 1,500 yr old case of Stockholm Syndrome.

👆🏻👆🏻This above fills in the rest of my experiences with this topic. Perfectly expounded on.

There will come a time they have to choose truth over false. They will have to meet their maker, so to speak, and it won't be in the way they envisioned it.

The greatest enemy of judaism is polytheistic paganism. And the ultimate single enemy, is Germanic Heathenry/Folkism. There is a commonality here between judaism and christianity because both of these enemies of judaism are also enemies of christianity. This is why jews do not go after Paganism/Folkism hard out in the open. It would have people questioning, if the greatest enemy of judaism is the Germanic Folk Soul, and judaism is evil, then what exactly is Germanic Folkism??

Gökhem is a magnificent place, part of the ancient landscape around Falköping, Sweden. See above post for where it's located in relation to the other finds. We've been out at this location a few times. Mesmerizing place once you begin to learn more about the history.

There were remains found there that are over 5000 years old. There are old passage graves there scattered all over the landscape, gravefields (per-Viking age), raised stones and a Viking era burial mound called the Holöja kings mound.

There is a road named Karleby that is still being used to this day, it's believed to be the oldest road still in use in Norther Europe. There are 11 passage graves scattered along this road in Karleby alone. An ancient settlement.

The new age is a huge psy-op which promotes cultural marxism and complacency. It is an unnatural system which stems from Abrahamism with the same goal of steering people away from their tribal, spiritual traditions and ancestral Gods. Ancestral, tribal practices are the only form of spirituality which offer true spiritual protection and it's connected to your blood and DNA as the Gods are your blood ancestors. This is why your ancestors were put to death if they did not convert. Subversion is the goal.

The new age promotes degeneracy, weakness, and most new agers are riddled with entity attachments. There is no such thing as "ascension" and all new age and UFO "gurus" are controlled opposition or being manipulated by entities, trying to make you believe that Pleiadeans on a star ship are coming to save you and you should send love to your enemies, instead of telling you to man up, get off your ass and fight. The controlled opposition "Gurus" try to make you believe that Europeans do not have their own spiritual practices, and we should look towards Asian countries or aliens for inspiration and as alternatives to Abrahamism.

Christianity and the new age were both created by Zionists (they also created Usury and communism) to turn you into a weak slave focusing on "forgiveness" and turning the other cheek. Focusing on "love and forgiveness" is a huge psy-op to make you complacent. We are part of nature, part of the earth. And it is the survival of the fittest. It is the strong who will inherit the earth, not the meek.

The only true "DNA activation" comes from venerating your ancestors and tribal polytheism. These practices unlock all of your ancestral wisdom and make you extremely difficult to fool and control.
There was a reason that your ancestors performed rituals and venerated their ancestors, it wasn't because they had nothing better to do.
"Enlightenment" never comes from star-ships, David icke, gurus, space-cats, new age workshops, crystals, information or Himalayan salt. It is you, only you and your ancestors, who hold the key to your enlightenment.

I have learned to cherish my ANGER.

Although it is a force, an energy that needs to be channeled wisely, lest we be consumed by it.

It is anger that makes me uncompromisingly free and defiant in the face of tyranny. I wouldn't be me without it.

It is this fiery will that relishes in the prospect of dying in battle having crushed the skulls of those who want to destroy us and our children.

I daily imagine myself killing my enemies and setting their institutions ablaze.
And where else can one possibly escape, but to the realm of imagination while anticipating the day of reckoning.

Until then, let us make use of every day to make ourselves stronger and more ressourceful.

Rejoice, for the wrath of the Gods shall be upon them.

May this day come within our lifetime!

It’s always been about the land, the wet, fertile, mossy, mostly cold, very green, insanely feminine land that has took me fully in and captured me. The pulse that is under my feet. How she swallowed me whole and taught me things only she could know, causing our hearts to grow inexplicably sweeter and more tender. It’s a good thing, this tenderness, it’s what opens us up to receive the stories held in our land. The ones that deal in creation and making. The ones we’ve forgotten, the ones who tell us who we are and who we were always meant to be.
