One of the names of Odin in the Old-Norse mythology is Osk, which by an etymological law is equivalent to the German Wunsch, the Anglo Saxon Wisc, and the English Wish. So again a bad or unfortunate day is a wisht day: perhaps a diabolical, heathen, accursed day. There are several places which appear to be compounded with this name; among them: Wishanger (Wíschangra or Wóden’s meadow), one, about four miles S.W. of Wanborough in Surrey, and another near Gloucester; Wisley (Wíscleáh) also in Surrey; Wisborough (probably Wíscbeorh) in Sussex; Wishford (probably Wíscford) in Wiltshire.

Something strange I discovered the other night. I often enjoy surfing for old videos of 70's and 80's music. I was listening to soft rock and singer songwriter stuff and Juice Newton's Angel Of The Morning came up. I always had a crush on her as a kid and that got me to looking up pictures of her and her bio. She's a beautiful blonde and I wondered what her heritage was. Her wiki says her birth name is Judy Kay Newton and she was born in 1952 in Lakehurst, New Jersey and that she attended high school in Virginia Beach Virginia. It doesn't say much more than that in her "early life". So I started searching other places. I came across her IMDb profile (which is a television and film database) and that said she was born in Virginia Beach and her name is Judith Kay Cohen... Hmmm..Of course you know what that told me.. So I looked deeper about her heritage. I came across her Ancestry, which showed no Cohens in it anywhere, they were mostly English names. I finally found another site called ethnicelebs.. Here it cleared up that she was born in New Jersey, not Virginia Beach and is English, and possibly something else.. Then it stated that "contrary to some statements on the internet, Juice is not of Jewish heritage". I Just found it very strange that the TV profile would falsify her name, and there would be a rumor making her appear as from another heritage.. I honestly was disappointed for a minute there because she seems so authentic and pure and I expected and wanted her to have a heritage similar to ours. I felt like she would.. And, gladly, in fact it appears she does.. But someone out there wants people to think something else.. Someone who likes twisting everything that's pure..

Many of us have certain personal issues we may deal with, whether it may be an addiction, a certain fear, or something like self confidence issues. I can say from experience that these are issues we will wish we had faced in our younger years. If we don't deal with them then what happens is our life tends to be centered around avoiding facing these things, whether we understand that or not. These are issues that sooner or later will become unavoidable and we will eventually be forced to face. What we will find is that when we face our issues head on and conquer them, that is the day our life actually begins. When we become comfortable with them later in life we often look back with some regret, with a feeling like we wasted a lot of life avoiding them and avoiding life, instead of facing them and living. Whatever it is you're dealing with, you can beat it. The time is now to believe in yourself.⚡️⚡️
