it's evident how far away from nature and the natural world we have been pulled. So many engrossed with technology and gadgetry, mesmerized by media through film, sports, music, video games, etc. People dream of discovering foreign places, of the future, of traveling to space and other worlds. The focus is shifted away from our natural reality. We're programmed to view it as antiquated, obsolete, boring. Nobody recognizes anymore that we are living in the most incredible place in the known universe. One look around us and we see that nothing we could ever imagine could be any more amazing than the natural world we exist in. There is wonderment surrounding us every day. The most amazing place in existence is right here, right outside.

Snow White is one of the most famous fairy tales collected by the Brothers Grimm, yet like many tales from the folklore it runs far deeper than initially appears. Snow White is a thinly veiled deity of winter, with the Queen likely being a goddess of harvest or of Summer akin to Idunn or Holle. From being essentially born of blood on snow, being beloved by Hunters who are about to reach a season of their peak importance, to the rather obvious elements in her name it all fits rather well. One could argue a similar myth for a Summer maiden can be found in Briar Rose yet their similarities are not due to being the same but rather being the others direct opposite, as one sleeps the other may wake. This is more obviously seen in the tale of Snow White and Rose Red where the two Maidens of Summer and Winter seem to go rather literally hand in hand all wrapped around a Mother Earth and Bear god. Which ties into a whole other set of traditions to do with the Wild Man and the grain mother archetypal roles.-TLK

*DISCLAIMER* Since I will likely be accused of being a feminist for crime of not thinking that women are subhuman cattle that exist for the purpose of breeding sons I must again repeat that I HATE FEMINISM with a passion & that the most SACRED role of woman is to be a loving wife & mother. I know that women “working” outside the home amongst men is a DISGRACE & the sign of a rotting society: WOMEN BELONG IN THE HOME WITH CHILDREN, THEY DO NOT BELONG WORKING WITH MEN - BUT THIS IS NOT BECAUSE THEY ARE INFERIOR BUT BECAUSE THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SACRED TASK OF NURTURING THE NEXT GENERATION. One reason women have turned away from the role of wife and mother is because men looked down on women for this sacred task instead of revering them for it. (Christian mentality). There seems to be the notion floating around that you have the choice of either hating women or being a raging feminist. Neither of these are valid options. Your ancestors were never more gay & dishonorable as when they were Christian & hated women and they were never more manly & honorable as when they were Pagan and revered women.
Abrahamic religions always lead to homosexuality because Abrahamic religions teach men that women are inferior subhumans. A man can never truly love a women if he thinks she is an inferior & subhuman creature; he will naturally prefer men as a result of this sick mentality.
Christianity actually convinced your Christian ancestors to hate their women to the point of burning them alive for “witchcraft” - which was something your Pagan ancestors considered a HOLY GIFT unique to women, something men admired them for.
Pagan men viewed women as magical creatures to be revered, and Christian men viewed women as magical creatures to be burned alive. Do you see how evil & warped Christianity is?
In a healthy society there is no such thing as an inferior sex. In a healthy society even the terms matriarchy & patriarchy make no sense; these words as they are used today imply a type of unhealthy competition between the sexes, the idea that one must put the other under its thumb, a “one verses the other” mentality & the idea that one sex is less significant than the other. I suspect the modern meanings attached to these terms were introduced by the same (((individuals))) who have pushed feminism & homosexuality upon us.
Males & females are interdependent upon each other and this interdependency blossoms the best when each is fulfilling its own natural & distinct gender role. Men are better at some things, women are better at some things and both sexes are incomplete without the other.
Men being leaders doesn’t = superiority. Men wielding power doesn’t = superiority. Women being more gentle & nurturing doesn’t = inferiority. Men are better fighters of course; but without women there is nothing for a man to fight for. Without women to protect there would be no need for warriors. Woman is what gives man the purpose & drive for all he does. Man is nothing without woman & woman is nothing without man. Do you see how this works?
It is the role and nature of a man to lead & protect that which he considers SACRED: his women & children. Just as is the role of a woman to honor and be led by the man who protects & leads her.
Genders are complementary puzzle pieces that are designed to fit together. The lock without the key has no purpose and neither does the key without a lock. They can only function and serve a purpose together.

Tréow (Loyalty)
Love, without limits, cannot form Tréow. Without discrimination, there is no actual love and one becomes untréowfæst (untrustworthy). Establishing Tréow is how we grow as a folk. This act of extending our trust, begins in infancy and continues until we cannot extend ourselves further, as the human psyche can only love, and therefore remain true, to a finite number of people (before love downgrades to care about and denigrates into indifference and tréow downgrades to hope they’ll be ok to the denigration of not my problem. The further someone gets from your inner circles of tréow, the less they exist within your actual concentric circles. It’s through the trusting of others that we build relationships, which in turn create traditions, and it’s our traditions that hold us together. May we remain steadfast in our tréow, always aware of the concentric circles and how they fit into your life.

The word gnome isn't a Germanic one – it's more likely from the Greek *genomos meaning 'earth-dweller' which would suggest a similar being as a Dwarf or Kobold. The root word of *genomos is *gno which evolved into Know and Knowledge (perhaps why they wear Red Hoods- a subject for another time) – and is where we get the word Gnostic from.
Kobolds were a Germanic household goblin figure, looking much like a Gnome or Dwarf. Their name comes from 'kobe' meaning hut or shed and holt (from hold) meaning 'gracious or friendly'. They were known to live in the witches region of Germany in the Harz mountains where miners applied their name to the arsenic rock that made them ill – and is where we get the term cobalt from.
In Cornwall, England these underground beings went by the name of Knockers, also called Coblynau in Wales, these mining goblins made their way to the New World as Cornish tin and copper miners joined the gold rush and migrated to parts of Utah and the American west – becoming the Tommyknocker.
The Anglo-Saxons also knew of the Kobold and were known as the Cofgod (the plural being Cofgodas). The English name came from Cove-god. Cove being a hut, enclosed room etc. and the word God, suggesting that a particular room or place being inhabited by a spirit. In Northern England they became known as Hobs, either because they lived or inhabited the hob (hearth) or as it was usual to leave them offerings by the hob. The name later became attached to the Hob-Goblin.

Many of you know of the account of Germania which was written by the Roman historian Tacitus a few decades short of 2000 years ago. Our kinsman, Grizzly Saxon, shared something with us that is not well know about this text, and he encouraged us to share it with you. Here are some quotes from the conversation with Grizzly:
“Germania by Tacitus is what led to Germanic Romanticism (not because Romantic means ‘coming from Latin culture’ but because it represented the ideal). It then paved the way to the Third Reich and the studies the SS had to make to join it.”
With regard to the last remaining text of ‘Germania’ Grizzly related,
“It was the *last* written text available, and Uncle H got a hold of it.” Grizzly went on to note that all other copies of ‘Germania’ had been destroyed at this point, but Hitler and the National Socialists ensured that this last copy was preserved. This is why we have access to this important text today.
Grizzly concluded that, “It's chilling to think how our people would be now without that text. It’s as if Muninn brought it down himself to rekindle our Memory. The strength of a single treatise about our people, put in the right hands.”
If you haven’t already, pick up a copy of this great work by Tacitus, which sheds an important light on what Germanic Aryan culture was prior to the Christian subversion.
