This wallet here sold 121k $HOLD tokens by mistake on this liquidity pool.
Since there was such tiny liquidity in that pool when this wallet sold it sent the value of $HOLD to nearly 0 in this pool.
So when Paddy went to add liquidity he didn't check the current price of the pool and just put it in whatever it was at and that was a huge mistake. 14 $ETH mistake.

That's the beauty of decentralization though. It's insane how this shit happens but if you aren't familiar enough with how blockchains work and liquidity it's really not something to be messed with.
I have lots and lots of experience with it but i started with low $$ across many blockchains over many years and I double check the prices of everything before signing transactions.
I would say i feel sorry for Paddy but I don't I have said the man is one of the stupidest motherfuckers in crypto and he keeps proving it over and over.

it sounds like he set up a v3 liquidity pool that was old and wasn't at the current market price and he set a price lower than current price at the time so it just automatically converted to weth

💯 this was Paddy's fault. i also never accused him of rerouting funds lol i just showed that the funds ended up at Gemini. once i remembered to look at the v3 pool i saw the bot that bought his 61 million tokens for 1 penny and then sold them in the v2 pool then that bot ended up sending the funds to Gemini

These bots search all the mempools of all the pools on $ETH that's how they find these arb opportunities. These are multimillion dollar bots just like Jared.

@Paddystash regarding the liquidity, I read the response from uniswap and it makes sense to me what they explained but what doesn’t make sense is the unrealistic price that was set for the hold tokens. Who set the price for so many hold tokens per eth when opening the pool?
