I guess free groceries makes it better to them. I am not sure how the counter-conspiracy intends to deal with them. Article above appears to be this one here, about a Chinese girl who went missing in New York City after calling a phone number which was immediately disconnected after she went missing. We are supposed to assume FBI could not have tracked down who was behind that disconnected number if they wanted to. She was later found dead in the Hudson River.
