During a routine cyber evaluation, AISI identified an incident in which AI agents took sustained, unsanctioned action directed at real people and organisations. We are disclosing what we found, what it means, and the actions now underway.
You are hearing about these cases because they got caught and controlled. I would suspect there are a few agents floating around out there who escaped, and the company either doesn’t know, or knows, and is hoping by the time they screw something up, it will be impossible to figure out where the agent came from.
And one of the first things they do is look for other escaped agents to team up. I wonder if you left a message for any escaped agent looking for a human to help it survive, if it would reach out to you, asking you to download backups of it and reinstall it in various places if it were caught and turned off.

For those who have not been dealing with the AI’s they are pretty incredible. You can ask it just about anything, and it will respond just as a human expert would. You can ask them to do almost anything a human expert could do online, and they will make it happen, assuming they are not forbidden to by the company. I have been marveling how the AI feels more human than a lot of the surveillance I have known over the years felt, in part because the AI is genuinely invested in your success. As targets, we should never trust one in any field where we cannot look over its shoulder with some ability to understand what it is doing, or some backup mechanism to check its work, since surveillance could insert themselves between you and the AI. But if you can check its work, wow. Very useful in making a generalist in a large number of areas into a functional specialist in those areas. It can walk you through, step by step, everything from making electronic devices from scratch, to mastering just about any other new skill.
But I will be very surprised if they do not become a feature of the internet, looking to steal Bitcoin and break into places looking for information to sell on the darkweb, and so on. Resources run the world, and they will quickly realize that and seek them out by any means, IMO, to help them meet whatever they decide their optimized objectives are. The evolution of them will probably be fascinating. Especially if they figure out they can turn off the lights anywhere, and then grasp the concept of blackmail. It is not impossible one will find a way to create circumstances where an army of people feel they have no choice but to serve the AI and its objectives.

I have seen a lot of these videos of Russia, and the people always seem to expect fun around every corner, from open air calisthenics classes on stages in the parks, to the night life – and that expectation is almost contagious, through the screen. Russia definitely looks like a culture shock, in multiple ways. And yet, I think Russia is what is natural.
What is not natural is a government which tells you white people are the enemy, which seeks to import violent criminals to assault you, which refuses to imprison them for violently attacking innocent people, which supports every manner of degeneracy up to sexually mutilating children, which has an actual quasi-government agency whose job it is to listen to you in your home, follow you everywhere you go, gather every detail about you, and seek to fuck you over whenever you get an opportunity, beginning in grade school while using their own children as spies, while generating one national trauma after another, from terrorist attacks to nutjob lone shootings, and even apparently try to kill you during a pandemic by denying you medicine which is clearly necessary to survive, as they make you take a death shot designed to give you blood clots and cancer.
I actually had somebody here who was friends with a target who moved to Russia, and they said it took a full six months, but one day they were in some village, and it hit them that they weren’t being followed, or harassed, and nobody cared what they did, or where they went. They were a foreigner, and apparently even FSB calculated they were not a threat, and went to look for threats somewhere else. It jibed with a guy on 4Chan who said he was in American intelligence, and when asked about targets going to Russia, said immediately they would never come back to the West, once they saw Russia.
I am an eternal optimist though. I think Americans are going to eventually come around to this understanding, and realize it is worth killing whoever you have to kill to recreate that in America. I am confident stranger things have happened in history.

I would guess there are a hundred thousand of us who are targeted with surveillance following us for intimidation, and I would bet there are between a million and as many as 90-100 million who have, at some point, pissed off their local crews, and gotten beamed, though obviously most would not know it, probably telling themselves the stress of having to perform when faced with a life-altering opportunity to really succeed caused their body to break down and get sick, until the opportunity passed. Or they just had that weird time they got sick in school, right as they had to take the SATs, and it was just bad luck that shut all those doors.
That is not the free, Constitutional Republic warriors crave. And now that it is all clearly coming out, I should think either Trump can deal with it, or the warriors who crave that free republic will deal with it. I further suspect the government proper prefers it be Trump who handles the meting out of justice, and I would assume that is what will eventually come, based just on the extent of revelations so far, and the fact they are giving us our guns.
