She was making $300K there. I went to a high school where the parents were all pretty smart, and well off. Senior year, I can remember being shocked at how many kids were just going to the local community college for a two-year associates degree, and I was baffled why they didn’t want to at least do four years at a party school and get at least a full BA, even. You know how many brilliant STEM kids are getting impossible tech degrees, and then not able to find jobs?
