We are a technologically sophisticated society, so those running it should want the technological advances the gifted would provide. The only scenarios I can see where there would be such an organization would be if the entity running the domestic surveillance and school sabotage were already so advanced any advance the gifted would offer would be light years behind them, and thus of no use, or if the domestic surveillance and school sabotage were being run by a foreign, adversarial government, such as Israel. Israel has the type of enviousness and passive-aggressive hostility where it would look to keep the United States advancement suppressed and controlled. As with other anecdotes, it fits.
The Pro-AI SuperPACs will be fronts for the intelligence services, including federal “law enforcement,” which is really just morphing into a combination of Secret Police and Praetorian Guard, operating under CIA. Mark my words, the intelligence services are going to be using that AI to try to control us and put the finishing touches on this dictatorship they are creating, and they will be using the facilities to hide their operational footprints and activities.
