It sounds nice, but this is the intelligence-driven environment, and I would bet Rupert Lowe was assigned to play this role, was given the grooming gang hearings, and his party was mapped out long before people even heard of him. My guess is the guy stepping down is the real deal, or close to it, but he was never given all the press coverage, and allowed to say all the things Lowe was allowed to say. Than said, obviously there is no choice but Lowe now. However that is how it always works. Hopefully this time they will let the deportations happen, and Lowe’s script is to appease the patriots by giving them what they want to avoid worse problems, and not to later implode with some revelation of a history of pedophilia or something.
